Brennen Leigh and Cristina Vane Paired Up on Unique National Tour

Two of the topmost talented women in country music and Americana are joining forces for a unique tour in 2026, coinciding with the Semiquincentennial, or the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. It’s called the Women of Americana tour, and the idea is to celebrate some of the greatest songs from the American songbook from songwriters like Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, to Lucinda Williams and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
To breathe new life into these old songs and showcase their brilliance for audiences, they have recruited traditional country singer and songwriter Brennen Leigh, and singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Cristina Vane. Brennen has been considered a preeminent leader in the traditional country space for years, and is also a member of the Wonder Women of Country. Cristina Vane is well-respected as a master of country, blues, and old folk-style guitar playing.
Fans of these two women are probably used to seeing them in clubs and dive bars for the most part—places where a remodel means removing the chicken wire in front of the stage. But the Women of Americana tour is set to transpire in stately theaters and performing arts centers all across the United States. These are two women who deserve to be theater acts, and now will be in this unique pairing and inventive tour concept.
The Women of Americana tour commences in Florida on February 20th, and will run 36 dates into late April. And who knows, if it goes well perhaps there will be more dates in more locations.

All I can say is go see them. I opened for Brennen a few months ago and she and her band are so so good. I’ve never seen Cristina Vane live but I’m sure it’ll be a killer show.

In honor of the history of American music the tour organizers are Winter Dancing the sh*t out of that schedule with all the backtracking through different regions

I’d pay to watch a movie where tour directors, venue bookers, musicians, etc., the record labels, are all bargaining and squabbling back and forth! The bus driver would have to have his say, too.

Brennen Leigh is a top-level talent. I wish there was a show in ND or MN! I bet that venue in La Crosse, WI would be a blast!

Just saw this first show in Sanibel tonite!
Great concert, excellent selection of songs, and Brennen & Cristina have a great rapport on stage. We talked to Brennen afterwards and she said it is hard to not sing any of your own songs but its a wonderful performance and well worth seeing!
