Alan Jackson’s Final Concert Sets Broadcast Air Date

Alan Jackson held what will very likely be his final ever full concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 27th. The event featured many special guest appearances, tributes, and video messages saying farewell to one of the greatest to ever do it. 56,109 tickets were sold to people who got to witness the concert in person. And estimated 80,000 total people witnessed the event thanks to other satellite viewing parties at Belmont University, the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame, and a massive block party on Lower Broadway.
But for those who couldn’t be there, they will finally have an opportunity to witness some of Alan Jackson’s final moments on stage. Set to air on NBC on December 8th from 8 to 10 PM ET/PT, “Alan Jackson: The Last Show” will make its network television debut. It will also be set for streaming the next day on Peacock—NBC’s streaming service.
The concert itself lasted many hours, and featured a cavalcade of stars performing Alan Jackson hits, along with a roughly two-hour performance from Alan Jackson himself. So with commercial breaks, you can’t expect the unabridged concert to air on television. Instead, it will be the concert’s highlights.
Along with Jackson himself performing many of his hits including “Chattahoochee,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” “Remember When,” “Gone Country” and “Livin’ on Love,” they have also confirmed they will air the pair of duets Alan Jackson did with George Strait during the performance.
Other performers who will be featured include Eric Church, Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, and members of Alan Jackson’s family, Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright and Carlisle Wright.
For those who want to hear Alan Jackson’s final concert perhaps in its entirety, MCA is also releasing Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale (Live from Nashville, TN). Though we don’t have a full track list for the album just yet, the description has now been updated as a 2 CD set, and a three LP vinyl set, so it will likely include most or all of Alan Jackson’s performance. They have also updated the release date from December 31st to December 3rd, making it available for Holiday shopping.
