Austin Musician and “The Voice” Alumn Brian Scartocci Arrested for Sexual Assault
A well-known Austin, TX musician and former contestant on NBC’s The Voice was arrested on sexual assault charges in October of 2025. Originally from New Jersey, soul musician Brian Scartocci competed on the 2012 season of The Voice. He then later moved to Austin where he performed with numerous bands before becoming a solo artist.
Scartocci became known as “Mr. Monday Night” for his long-standing residency at Austin’s Skylark Lounge on the city’s east side. The venue permanently closed in May of 2025. Scartocci then began a Monday night residency at one of Austin’s premier honky tonks, The White Horse. His tenure at The White Horse ceased after the sexual assault allegations became known.
According to court records, an appointment order was assigned on September 19th, 2025, and a warrant for Scartocci’s arrest was issued on September 26th. Scartocci was formally arrested on October 15th, and posted a bond of $25,000 on October 16th and was released. He is due back in court on February 18th.
Saving Country Music contacted the lawyer listed on Scartocci’s court filings for comment, but the lawyer said he does not represent the singer. Verge Management who names Scartocci as a client was also contacted for comment, but they did not return inquiries.
Scartocci has not be convicted or plead guilty to sexual assault at this time, and the case remains in pre indictment. No additional information is publicly available at this time, in part due to the nature of the charges.

I dig that it seems that way but really there’s evil everywhere and nobody gonna sell subscriptions reporting on some creeper with a tire shop in Coeur d’Alene.
Country music isn’t some horrible part of the world, the world is just sometimes horrible – and country music only happens to be in it.
