Mile 0 Fest Announces 2026 Lineup

Both USA Today and Saving Country Music have declared Mile 0 Fest to be the best festival in the United States. Happening every January in Key West, Florida, it features some of the best music in Texas/Red Dirt music and beyond, all in paradise. It’s the opportunity to witness some of your favorite bands in some legendary spots, from a beach on the Southernmost point in the United States, to the legendary Sunset Pier, to places along Key West’s bustling Duval Street, to the nightly shows at the amphitheater.
Along with many great returning names for January 27th to January 31st, 2026 like the Randy Rogers Band, Shane Smith & the Saints, American Aquarium, and the surging Kaitlin Butts, you also have fan favorite and Mile 0 Fest stalwart Silverada returning after taking 2025 off. You also have Stephen Wilson Jr., James McMurtry, Ellis Bullard and The Wilder Blue returning after making their debuts in 2025.
New names for 2026 include Paul Cauthen, The Droptines, Kashus Culpepper, Suzanne Santo, and Leon Majcen. 56 artists in total will make their way to Key West, with most or all of the names playing at least two shows over the week, and more names to be announced in the future to go along with all the other sightseeing and excursions that Key West has to offer.

Damn, that’s a hell of a lineup.
July 5, 2025 @ 3:23 am
A whole batch of these artists, plus The Great Divide, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Jason Boland and the Stragglers will be performing this summer in Red River, New Mexico at the 8750 Festival, it will be a great weekend

How long do you get to be categorized as “surging” before you switch to being categorized as “married to the lead singer of a successful band and no one wants to hurt his feelings”
July 4, 2025 @ 2:21 pm
Don’t entirely understand the comment unless you switch “his” with “her.” I think Kaitlin Butts has definitely been successful on her own, and is surging after experiencing numerous viral moments and getting some big opportunities.

Funny, I came here to say I was surprised she wasn’t billed higher…Kaitlin is arguably just as big as Flatland at this point.
July 6, 2025 @ 6:57 am
What an ignorant comment. She was blowing up already whenever they became a thing.
July 7, 2025 @ 6:01 am
That’s a great point, Michael. Her 2.3M monthly listeners on Spotify all must’ve accidentally clicked on her name from the Flatland page. Hopefully they can fix that reporting error soon.

SWJr. at the “headliner”. Can’t think of a guy who deserves it more. I know some can’t look past the fact he writes catchy songs. But for my $, live & in person. He puts on an A+ show. Glad for him and his band

I appreciate what Mile 0 is doing, it’s a legitimately great festival. It just sucks that the headliners and artists are having to choose between Mile 0 and Steamboat.
Granted, Dickson is not the… easiest… person to work with, I hate that Steamboat is “losing” to Mile 0. But then again if you ask me to choose between a parka or a swimsuit in January, I’m choosing swimsuit.
July 4, 2025 @ 2:22 pm
Do headliners really have to choose? There are a lot of artists who play both fests. Have not seen Steamboat’s lineup yet, but it will be interesting to see the overlap.

Gotta wait til ‘27 to make it down there but I looked at the lineup and it’s fantastic. Only name missing is Ty Smith and the Minor Offenses. Trig – assuming you have some sway so if you could make sure Ty and his band get an invite for next year I’ll be forever in your debt. Oh and btw he just dropped “6 Feet of Dirt” as a single and it is way more country than anything from his debut album. Another really good one from the young man.

Went to the first 3, ‘18-‘20 and none since. This lineup doesn’t compare to the first one. Turnpike, Shooter Jennings, Cody Jinks. Jason Eady w/full band, etc., etc. Elizabeth Cook “MC’d”. It was a peak musical experience for us. Now it just seems like the same old, same old. I could probably see every one I want on this list in Georgia or Tennessee without the cruise-level expense. Just my $.02
Always though Nikki Lane would have been a GREAT fit.

appreciate what you’re saying, but 2021 was explosive: it was postponed until april due to covid and it was pretty much the first opportunity for most or all the artists to really cut loose since early 2020 covid lockdown. and cut loose they did. to a hyper-appreciative packed amphitheater.
also, mile 0 fest offers up nuggets of the yet to be stars: 2022”s red clay strays at smokin’ & the sunset pier being exhibit A.

Fair. Scheduling conflict in ‘21 got us out of the habit. Subsequent life events since, we moved and kind of aged out of going to many shows, mean we probably won’t go unless there’s something that knocks our socks off.
We always did bring the average age up.🤣

Happy Independence Day!
God Bless America!
July 5, 2025 @ 1:47 pm
Crazy how Fullbright is billed so low. He is a freaking wizard!
July 6, 2025 @ 3:11 pm
I’m also a big fan of Fullbright but objectively speaking I find it still weirder that Jason Eady gets billed even lower
July 7, 2025 @ 9:30 pm
Don’t get that one at all.
July 8, 2025 @ 6:22 pm
Kashus Culpepper Is easily one my favorite artists right now. Cool to see him featured here
