Mile 0 Fest Announces Stacked 2027 Lineup
It’s not easy to get there and it’s not cheap to stay. But those that have made the trek now over the fest’s 10 year history will swear there ain’t nothing like Mile 0 Fest in Key West, Florida. You just can’t replace or exchange experiencing your favorite music in paradise, especially smack dab in the middle the frozen Winter. The setting is spectacular, and so are the people. For some, it’s an annual pigrimage. For others, it’s a one-time splurge. Either way, it’s worth it.
The 2027 lineup just announced is crowned by headliners Cross Canadian Ragweed, Old Crow Medicine Show, the resurgent Ryan Bingham, and the surging Wyatt Flores and Kaitlin Butts. Of course the undercard is stacked as well with returning favorites like Tanner Usrey, Silverada, Wade Bowen, and American Aquarium. But there’s also some really exciting new names like Pony Bradshaw, Nicholas Jamerson, and The Creekers.
Mile 0 Fest isn’t just an intimate amphitheater show. It’s also like its own songwriters festival, with folks like Jason Eady, Adam Hood, and Walt and Tina Wilkins making the trek. There’s also always something to discover there when it comes to up-and-coming performers. This was the place many first saw Tyler Childers, The Red Clay Strays, Morgan Wade, and so many more.
And though the lineup might be eye-popping and daunting at the same time, everybody plays at least two sets, meaning you have multiple opportunities to see your favorite artists. The settings around Key West make for unique experiences, from the legendary Sunset Pier, to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, to the Southermost Point of the United States on the beach. And beyond the festival itself, Key West has so much to experience and discover.

I will be there. Year 10 out of 10. Hopefully, the weather will be a little better than last year or two. Either way, it will certainly be better than being here in Wisconsin.In January!
Great lineup as always. Looking forward to see Ragweed next week at Red Rocks as well as at Mile 0 again.

Yeah, last two years they’ve been snake bit by ridiculously unusual weather. Usually it’s light sweat in the day, maybe windbreaker at night.

I’m headed to Under The Big Sky Festival in Montana as we speak. Then I’d recommend Unbroken Circle Fest in Madison, Indiana in early September, North Springs Music Festival in October.
I will also probably be at AmericanaFest in September, though I don’t necessarily “recommend” it if you’re not industry, as well as the Texas Women’s Songwriters Fest in September.
Many more, but that’s what’s on my radar.

Definitely recommend Unbroken Circle. With the lineup they boast and the gem that is Madison, IN, I doubt there’s a better VIP ticket in the entire country. I think the VIP may be sold out, but a GA ticket and willingness to plant a folding chair when the gates open will put you less than 30 yards from the stage.

Braun Brothers Reunion – Challis, ID.
Its out of the way but a really big bang for the buck.
Reckless Kelly, Mickey & the Motorcars, Silverada, Shelby Stone, Suzy Boggus, Tylor & the Train Robbers, Jeff Crosby, Jamie Lin Wilson, Cody Canada & the Departed (wouldn’t be surprised if it were more CCR than he and Plato….), Sister Sadie, Hays Carll, Wilder Blue, Bruce Robison. All in a beautiful backdrop and very laid back accessible atmosphere. These artists mingle the crowd. It’s great.

At the end of the poster’s band list is “& many more.” I thought a band should call itself Many More, but it looks like at least a couple of them already used the idea. Oh, well.
This fest is another one of those “when I retire” items.

…could make a hell of playlist to summon some of the “best” songs of that terrific line-up. not sure if i started it with fowlers “beer, bait and ammo” (since fishin’ songs seem to be all the rage at the moment) or silverada’s new banger “drag”.
