Robert’s Western World Plots FREE 2025 Block Party

Anyone who knows anything about country music knows that Robert’s Western World is the last real deal honky tonk in Nashville’s Lower Broadway entertainment district, with honorable mentions going to a few other select haunts. Last year Nashville’s “Home To Traditional Country” celebrated its 25th Anniversary by blocking off the street and throwing an epic, star studded block party, and all for free.

The 25th Anniversary party was such a success in 2024, they’ve decided to doing it again in 2025, with another star-studded lineup set to perform, including Marcus King, Elizabeth Cook, Radney Foster, Chuck Mead, The Travelin’ McCourys. Once again, Lower Broadway will be blocked off for the event, and it will be entirely free to the public.

JesseLee Jones and Brazilbilly, Joshua Hedley, Brennen Leigh, The Cowpokes, Kelly’s Heroes, Charles Esten, Dave Cox, Aaron Till, the Hillbilly Honchos, and more are all set to perform. There will also be a “Wanted For Steelin’” steel guitar showcase featuring multiple players, and the thirteen-piece Western Swing dance band Eddie Slide and his Cowtown Dozen. There will also be vendors, food and drink, and other activities on two stages.

For 26 years now as Lower Broadway has gone from downtrodden, to resurgent, to downright bustling, to garish and ridiculous like the Disney World of Country Music, Robert’s has remained the rock that resists all temptations to modernize, demands all of its performers only play classic country, and keeps the “Recession Special” of a PBR, a fried bologna sandwich, a Moon Pie, and a bag of chips at the ready.

The all-ages event is free and will begin at 10:00 am CT, with bands and special guests performing until 11:00 pm CT. For more information, visit robertswesternworld.com/fan-fair.
