Shane Smith & The Saints Announce 2025 Tour Dates
Shane Smith and the Saints evoke an epicness and weight through their songs that is virtually unparalleled in the modern era of music. It’s almost akin to Bach and Beethoven how they stir the emotions of man, and awaken the audience of the gods. Perhaps no other band calls to mind the most defining and elemental moments of life than this Austin-based outfit.
All of this and more is evidenced on their 2024 album Northern (read review), which you shouldn’t be surprised to see making appearances on end-of-year lists as 2024 comes to a close. But to really get the full Shane Smith and the Saints experience, you must see them live where their power and energy pummels you in a completely immersive and unparalleled experience.
It just so happens that the band has announced a host of new dates for early 2025 to go along with their final round of dates for 2024. As popularity in this band continues to grow, your opportunity to secure tickets, or see them in more intimate venues diminishes. So don’t pass up an opportunity to see them in-person if you can.
Briscoe and Noeline Hoffman are opening for many of their remaining 2024 tour dates.

I’ve seen this band ten times at this point and I’ll see them 100 more times if I can. I’ve seen them play on restaurant patios and the Rhyman and outside the Ranger stadium. Same energy every time same respect for my money. They put on a great show.
Even if you don’t love their music this bands bus once burned to the ground and they still played their scheduled show that night with borrowed equipment. Not a harder working band out there

Just bought tickets for belly up aspen and they are still available. It’s a 450 person capacity venue with fantastic sound.

Fun show last night in Minneapolis in a 750 person room. First MN show I believe. Sold out or close to it.
It’s always felt like they were the classic case of mostly playing Texas because they could sell so many more tickets there than in the Midwest/Northeast. I’m sure they would have played to a bigger crowd in Texas last night too, but I’m glad to see that the expanding popularity of the genre and the band has made national tours more feasible.

They’re good and I will be seeing them, but you are putting it on a lil thick here. LOL

I was going to comment thanking Trigger for using this phrase. There is something different with SS&tS than any other band out there right now. He referred to them as an elemental force in his review of their album Norther and I agree with it there, too. There is just some magic created between Dustin Schaefer’s guitar (I can’t comment on the previous guitar players, I wasn’t around for them), Bennett Brown’s violin and Shane’s voice. Their songwriting isn’t at the level of an Isbell or McMurty but there is just something extra in that combo of those three instruments being used together. Add in the exhaustive, leave-it-all on the stage energy Shane pours into his shows and it’s just unbeatable.
I’ve seen them twice, the last time my sister in law flew in from Sweden to see them, and I’ll see them any time they play within driving distance from me moving forward. They’re that good of an experience.

Turnpike and Shane Smith & the Saints have long been my favorite bands to listen to. When it comes to live shows though, SS&tS blow Turnpike out of the water. The music and sounds reach another level live, and the energy from the band on stage is constant.

Thank you for posting this!
I’ve been hoping for them to come out to southern CA (outside of festivals like Stagecoach), and probably would have missed this entirely if I didn’t see your post.

So excited to see they’re playing in Central Massachusetts! (And at a venue renowned for metal shows – interesting.) I can’t wait!
Thanks for the heads up Trigger, I would’ve totally missed out otherwise.
