Sierra Ferrell Announces 2025 “Shoot For The Moon” Tour

The world is waking up to just what a wonder it has in its midst with songwriter and performer Sierra Ferrell. From busking on street corners for ragged dollars, to now being recognized with some of the top awards in the industry, Sierra is being showered with deserved recognition for her efforts, and in a way that is fortifying her rapid ascent.
Along with winning the 2024 Saving Country Music Album of the Year for Trail of Flowers, Sierra Ferrell is also the Americana Music Association’s Artist of the Year, and is up for four Grammy Awards in 2025.
Sierra Ferrell is about to have a BIG 2025, so it might be one of your last opportunities to see her in small venues. She’s just announced a slew of new headliners dates under the appropriate title “Shoot For The Moon,” and they go along with her appearances opening for Post Malone, and big festival placements at Stagecoach in April, DelFest and Railbird Festival in May, and Harley-Davidson Homecoming Fest in July.
Pre-sale tickets start on Tuesday, Jan. 28. General tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 31 at sierraferrell.com/tour.

Is Post Malone really playing stadiums? I don’t get it.
January 25, 2025 @ 12:25 pm
He’s legit one of the most popular artists of his generation. I don’t think it is surprising he is playing stadiums at all.
I’m not saying I *like* his music – I don’t – , but to act surprised one of the biggest “Pop” artists going today is playing stadiums is just willful ignorance.
January 25, 2025 @ 4:32 pm
Willful ignorance? That was unnecessary.

Bigger new charley goes major!?
January 25, 2025 @ 9:53 am
She is amazingly talented, and she makes it look easy. Plus you never know what she’s gonna wear…good fashion sense.
January 25, 2025 @ 6:46 pm
Going to try and catch her at Brown’s Island in September. I’m a fan and have been told her live show is phenomenal.
January 25, 2025 @ 9:53 pm
That is going to be awesome! Missed her last year and totally regretted it.
January 28, 2025 @ 1:19 pm
Country music for people who are confused about their pronouns. I know, I know, I’ve used this joke before, but I’m recycling it because it still makes me laugh.

I don’t think this is a fair assessment of Sierra Ferrell at all. Del McCoury didn’t book her at his festival this year because she only appeals to trans people. Sierra Ferrell has many traditional country and traditional bluegrass fans, and I can say that from standing in the audience of her shows and seeing them. This culture war politicization of artists is unhelpful to the cause.
