The 2025 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Fest Just Got Interesting

Earlier in January when they first announced the 2025 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival with headliners Chris Stapleton and Hank Williams Jr., you thought, “Okay, cool.” But it was a festival that could either break towards a mainstream lineup, or an independent one. After all, last year they had Jelly Roll and Warren Zeiders.
Would you get your hopes up and book a hotel in Harley-Davidson’s hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin for July 10-13, only to find the undercard filled out by Mitchell Tenpenny, Nickelback, and a triumphant return of Florida Georgia Line? Or would they know what’s really up in modern country music?
Well the latter appears to be the case as the second wave of talent they’ve announced includes the Turnpike Troubadours, Charles Wesley Godwin, Sierra Ferrell, Treaty Oak Revival, 49 Winchester, Ole 60, The Droptines, and Kendell Marvel. In other words, it’s a who’s who of surging country and Southern rock artists, with still more performers to announce.
That means whoever is booking/curating this thing has done their homework, and knows their stuff. Sure, if you’re paying any attention, you know about Turnpike and Sierra Ferrell. But to hit on The Droptines means you’ve really done your research. Let’s hope the rest of the lineup comes together with similar results.
The Homecoming Festival will be held in Veteran’s Park in Milwaukee, with other events happening at the Harley-Davidson Museum and Headquarters, including free events. Presale tickets go on sale at 9 am Central, with the public on-sale starting at 10 am. For more information, go to hdhomecoming.com.

Great that Sierra Ferrell is listed. Sausage Fest will not happen in 2025

All over this mid week event

cool lineup, but you ain’t gonna get me out to mingle with those miller lite’d up boomers who ride their bikes twice a year.

Folks, you will not be disappointed if you come to Milwaukee in summer., especially for live music right at a park right next to Lake Michigan. It is a fantastic city and as home of one of largest music festivals in the states (Summerfest; it used to be the largest and one of three largest in the world), we know how to roll out the red carpet. Harley also has been hosting events like this for decades and has been a worthy host. (One blip was booking Elton John as a headliner for a biker crowd at one of their anniversary parties.)
JB-Chicago, think you will make it up? Trigger?
So excited for this lineup!

Not sure. But I might end up in the Midwest this summer as opposed to out West.

It’s definitely possible we’ll see when all the dates and lineups shake out. It’s gotten to the point even now where there are multiple indoor shows a week here, and the summer gets even crazier!!! I’m really not an all day festival guy anymore though.

JB.
I am not really a festival guy either except for Mile 0 because it is so intimate and is in Key West in January. Prefer seeing individual shows in smaller venues. However, for this Harley event I can go home every night!

Just bought tickets and reserved a hotel. The concerts are Friday and Saturday. The weekdays are just festival events. This lineup is too good to miss. Wooohooo

How is Chris Stapleton’s name above the greatest country music singer of all Hank Williams, Jr.

Just saw Sarah Shook and the Disarmers are going to disband at tour end in June.
Kinda sad about that.

What I don’t get is there are 2 headliners – Hank Jr. / Chris Stapleton – for 4 days? Are all acts spread out over 4 days? Or are some playing multiple days?
January 17, 2025 @ 2:49 pm
This is just the preliminary lineup. They announced the two headliners first. Then they announced a slew of support acts. We’ll just have to see how the rest of the lineup develops.

Too bad it’s tied to Harley Davidson. Seems like a great lineup. Really want to see 49 Winchester some time. I was able to see The Droptines here in Huntsville last year at a small venue. They were opening for Cody West. I was also fortunate enough to see CWG and Turnpike when they came to Huntsville. Ole 60 is coming in March and I’m tempted to go see them.

Don’t sleep on Ole 60!
