Turnpike Troubadours Announce “Wild America Tour” 2025

The Turnpike Troubadours turned in what many believe is the leader in the clubhouse for Album of the Year so far with their recent release The Price of Admission, and there might also be a Song of the Year candidate there too, if not a couple of them. If you’re enjoying the home version, all the more reason to get out there and see them in the wild.
After finishing up a big Red Rocks show on May 9th, the Turnpike Troubadours have released a brand new batch of tour dates, titled under the “Wild America Tour” 2025. Over the last couple of years, they’ve been announcing dates mostly in onesies and twosies. But behind the big new record, they’re laying on the pedal.
The Troubadours already have a full slate of dates coming up this summer. They’ll be opening up multiple dates in Dublin, and another in London for Zach Bryan, where maybe they can discuss their mutual frriend John Moreland. In between, Turnpike will be playing their own headliner UK dates. They’ll also be stopping by Harley Davidson Homecoming in Milwaukee in July, and will be making numerous appearances on Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Tour.
But there are plenty of new headliner tour dates as well, with openers Wyatt Flores, Ken Pomeroy, Rattlesnake Milk, Leon Majcen, Lance Roark, Noeline Hofmann, Robert Ellis, Shelby Stone, and others scheduled to appear, along with special guest appearances by Trampled By Turtles, Dawes, and others. The Troubadours will also be co-hosting the Texas installment of the “Boys From Oklahoma” show in Waco on August 23rd with Cross Canadian Ragweed.
Presale starts on Wednesday 5/14 at 10am local (sign up) for all the dates below in bold, with general onsale on Friday 5/16 at 10am local.

Already seeing them at the outlaw festival but excited to see them in Columbia too. That will be neat since Dawes are opening for them. Dawes are one of my favorite indie rock bands and their album nothing is wrong is one of my all time favorite albums.
May 15, 2025 @ 4:06 pm
Oh man, I will have to try to get to that show. Columbus is less than a half day drive and I’ve never seen Dawes. Been seeing Turnpike since forever, and would still consider making the drive, but throw in Dawes…
May 15, 2025 @ 6:43 pm
See ya there – and with mf’in Rattlesnake Milk no less! Stoked to see those guys getting their dues.
May 13, 2025 @ 8:23 pm
Nice to see them with some better openers. I saw them on their last tour and they were amazing and out on a great show, but Ian Munsick opened for them and it really confused me on why they had him as an opener. Autotune and a fan blowing in his hair, it gave me second hand embarrassment

Don’t get me started…
🙂

They are the leading contender for my album of the year. Great album. Supporting Zach Bryan at Hyde Park will introduce them to a lot more who I think will become fans.
May 14, 2025 @ 10:16 am
It took a couple listens to grow on me, but now I think it might be their best album. It’s at least in the running.
May 14, 2025 @ 5:40 am
More Rattlesnake Milk please
May 14, 2025 @ 5:46 am
I’m very pleasantly surprised at the size of some of the venues, particularly in some of the areas being played. I won’t claim to be an expert on all of the venues, but I live in Cleveland, OH and I can say that the Wolstein Center is a fairly large venue…it’s where Cleveland State University plays basketball. It’s not the largest venue in town, but it’s a pretty significant size for them to be playing in this area. Really goes to show how big they’ve gotten.
May 14, 2025 @ 7:24 am
There’s a lot of large drawing openers on this tour too, probably on purpose. Trampled By Turtles will sell some tickets in Cleveland too.
May 14, 2025 @ 6:20 am
The Uptown in KC is a 1700 capacity venue. Interesting that’s where they are playing but cannot wait to see them in that type of venue again!
May 16, 2025 @ 3:25 pm
Nevermind. Tix are $120 for GA floor standing room. Outrageous.
May 16, 2025 @ 3:46 pm
£30 for an all standing show in Manchester, UK …. with great openers Noeline Hofmann and J.R. Carroll as support. An absolute bargain
May 14, 2025 @ 6:26 am
I have tickets to see them at the Illinois State Fair. Any idea who is headlining that show?
May 14, 2025 @ 7:27 am
It’s on a Sunday. I would assume it’s them.
May 14, 2025 @ 7:47 am
My bad, I meant to say Opening, not Headlining. They are definitely Headlining.
May 14, 2025 @ 7:53 am
My guess is in that case, that would be picked by the fair, not Turnpike. So that’s why nothing is announced there by them. There might not be an opener.
May 14, 2025 @ 7:19 am
3rd row seats in Cleveland!
May 14, 2025 @ 7:55 am
On it. Stoked to not have to catch a festival to see them on this run.
REDRIVER

For any interested.

Hello Asheville!!
May 14, 2025 @ 9:11 am
Well hopefully there ends up being a way to get a single day pass for the Austin COTA show. No interest in 3 days of car racing or seeing the guy the previous night who made sure to let me know Im an a-hole lol.
May 14, 2025 @ 10:59 am
Wowzers- the ticket price for Cleveland are high for a small arena show.
May 14, 2025 @ 4:05 pm
$58? Reckless Kelly is playing a show near me at a venue that holds about 1,000 people (which they 1/4 filled last time) and they are asking $65 to stand and $100 to sit. I know stuff is expensive and the band has to get paid, but I also don’t have to go and for the first time in almost 20 years I am not.
May 15, 2025 @ 5:48 am
These are 134 for floor and lower bowl. 60-80 upper deck.
Went to Detroit last year and they didn’t even sell out the small Masonic Theater and prices were lower. Expect the Wolstein to be empty for this with these prices.
May 15, 2025 @ 8:11 am
$134 (with all of the fees) seemed very reasonable to me for a 3rd row floor seat to see a band of their caliber. Plus they are having two opening acts with them.
May 18, 2025 @ 5:55 am
Yea, checked back on Ticketmaster a day after public sale, and 3% of the seats have sold. Cleveland is gonna get cx or moved to smaller venue. The demand isn’t there for those prices. I suppose with dynamic pricing they could drop, I’m not familiar with what the floor is though when it comes to the prices fluctuating.
Would love to see them in Agora or Beachland, but those may even be too smalll.

Trigger,
I have not heard of any issues with their sound at shows as of late. Have you heard that they made any changes? I and many others have been dissapointed in the past with muddled vocals at their shows. Almost ruining the concert experience. Meanwhile openers like muscadine bloodline sounded clear as day. I chalked it up to them being used to playing in large bars and theatres and then moving to large outdoor venues. Perhaps their sound guy finally figured it out.
May 15, 2025 @ 7:29 am
I have not heard any concerns about sound lately. I had also not heard any issues with sound when some were complaining about it, but I was mostly seeing them at festivals, so I might not be the best test case. I’m not really sure what to equate that all to.
May 16, 2025 @ 9:38 am
I saw them in Fishers, IN, late last year, and the sound mix was not good at all. Trampled by Turtles opened and sounded much better.
May 15, 2025 @ 6:53 am
They have such an extraordinary catalog of songs with many standards that it seems like they’ll have to play at every concert forever (Bird Hunters, Good Lord Lorrie, Every Girl, 7 & 7, the list goes on!).
And yet, they’ll have to carve out some space on this tour to play a bunch off their new album. Great band, hope to catch one of these shows even though I’ll see them in Waco for Boys from Oklahoma.
May 20, 2025 @ 6:52 am
I was expecting to drive 4-5 hours to catch them on this tour but miracle of miracles they’re coming to Tahoe!!
