Zach Top Adds Dates to Sold Out 2025 Tour
Like a Black Friday feeding frenzy where people are elbowing old ladies in the face for a chance at a door buster deal, folks are falling all over themselves for tickets to Zach Top’s 2025 headliner shows, knowing it might be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the throwbkack ’90s country phenom in a smaller venue.
Zach Top might have missed out on the CMA’s New Artist of the Year trophy, but his red hot streak is not subsiding anytime soon. As soon as he announces new tour dates on his 2025 tour, they’re selling out immediately. Even when he doubles up dates at locations, demand isn’t satiated. That means you need to be on top of your game to secure tickets.
Zach announced a dozen or so headliner dates for 2025 in September, and every single one of them sold out almost immediately. He subsequently squeezed in a handful of new dates that sold out as well. So he’s just announced eleven more dates in April and May to meet demand.
Opening the new dates for Zach will be Jake Worthington and Lauren Watkins. For more info, visit zachtop.com/tour.

Curious if he’s pulling out of some of the dates he’s scheduled to be with Alan Jackson. I’ll be in Milwaukee and remain hopeful he’s there too. It’s not listed on his website or your article but he remains listed on the venue site.

Zach Top is 2-4x more expensive than Sturgill was in Boston at the same venue. Sturgill made it so you couldn’t sell for more than face value. Guess ZT wasn’t interested in doing the same. Pass.

I wonder how much effort it takes to keep resales to face value or if that’s even an option in all cases. I couldn’t imagine the performers wanting their fans to have to pay extra. That money isn’t going to them. I have been seeing more non-transferrable tickets lately. I think that was the case for the Molly Tuttle show I went to a couple weeks ago.

Mitch you act like Zach knows about it or even has a say in it. He’s a young new comer in a whirlwind right now. I can assure you he probably doesn’t, but I’m sure he would care. Sturgill is a seasoned Pro and he’s one of the sharpest I’ve ever seen. It’s really not fair to compare the 2 situations.
I’ve seen Zach twice this year. His headline show at Joe’s on Weed St is my show of the year. He’s now entering the league of venue’s in which I don’t care to tread. Good for him. I hope he gets Enormodome big, and I’ll always root for him.

A pass for me too at those prices for ZT at that place. The Sturgill Boston shows were drop jaw, epic, and amazing. I know the ticket policy was a pain for a minority of people, but overall was a big FU to the reseller crime syndacate.

Seeing a lot of folks complaining about the prices of Zach Top tickets. I warned y’all about this. These prices are not being set by Zach’s people. They’re either resale or dynamic pricing. This is what happens when a performer explodes like this. He might be in arenas by the fall. But they’re going to make him sell out club/theater level first.

Not complaining. I just won’t pay it.

I’m glad I got in on the ground floor & saw him at the fair. haha He is worth $,though. I’d rather see him over Sturgill, ZB,Childers, etc. He doesn’t have the illusion that he’s reinventing the wheel.

Seen Sturgill Sat and Sun.. He is re-inventing the wheel.

When it comes to Ticketmaster, have been able to “best their system” a couple times.
Under filter(s), Unclick everything until only Standard ticket is showing. Unclick Resale, Citibank Members Only, whatever.
Did this when determined to go to the Eagles St. Patrick’s weekend show, in March.
The “cheapest resale tix” were coming up at ~ $1,350, for 2. Wasn’t about to pay that.
Friends who did pay that, were in the right horseshoe bend in the lower tier of seats.
Under Standard, was able to purchase 2 tickets for a little over $700. and was practically sitting on Henley’s drum kit.
Outstanding seats.
Was able to do the same thing a couple weeks ago when filtered down to Standard.
5 tickets to see TSO at Bainbridge, on the 19th. Incredible seats.
*Cannot ever imagine paying 700. for 2 seats again. However, the EAGLES were well worth seeing, 1 more time.

I saw him at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville in February of 2023 and thought, “this kid has a chance to really be something.” At the time, I was thinking in a few years, he didn’t even have a record deal yet but told me he was about to sign with someone. Thankful I got to see him open for the Steel Woods last summer, because nobody else was paying attention and I was telling everyone, you’re going to be paying to see him headline an arena soon enough. I’ve tried to get tickets to many shows and they’re always sold out.

My brother in law and nephew saw Zach the summer of ’23 in Neshanic Station, NJ on a recommendation of my other nephew in Austin, sadly I didn’t go, small venue and was a great show.
Give the guy a break, he’s caught up in the whirlwind of the crappy concert/venue world were everything is so overpriced and out of hand. He’s probably just worried about getting to the shows and making sure his Telecaster is in tune.
The sad thing for us is that we love to see great acts like this when they are unknown and say, “Why don’t people love this guy/girl/group?” and then when they do catch on, we complain.
All my respect to Zach and others, put the wind in your sails and go for it, you deserve it, and take it in stride, stay true to yourself and your music, that’s all that matters in the end!
No one desearves it more !

Looks like Pikeville, KY is my closest option. Wouldn’t be my first choice on places to go, but it is what it is.
