2025 Mempho Music Fest Offers Killer Sunday Country Lineup

Though not exclusively a country or roots music festival, the Mempho Music Festival in Memphis each Fall always compiles impressive lineups. We already knew this year’s event would feature some of the best in country and roots with Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell, John R. Miller, and Lucero all on the bill. What we didn’t know until their recent daily lineup reveal is that all these killer artists would be performing on the same day.
Not to knock Friday (Oct. 3rd) or Saturday (Oct. 4th) at all. Both will be headlined by Widespread Panic, with appearances by Father John Misty, The Flaming Lips, Lukas Nelson, Mavis Staples, Leftover Salmon, and a bunch of other cool bands. But Sunday, October 5th might be pound for pound the best lineup any festival has boasted all year in the realm of independent country and roots.
Happening at the Radians Amphitheater at the Memphis Botanic Gardens, Annie and the Caldwells, Amy Lavere, and Gia Welch Trio will also perform on the festival’s two stages. It’s always cool when a big festival with national impact also makes sure to show respect to the local talent. That’s what makes Sunday extra special since it features alt-country hometown heroes Lucero.
“Over the years Mempho has become a world class music festival and it’s nice of them to include us hometown boys again in this amazing lineup,” says frontman Ben Nichols. “Lucero played our first Mempho Fest back in 2018. Now, for our second time at the festival, we are super excited to be playing the same day as Tyler Childers, Sierra Ferrell, Charley Crockett and John R. Miller! We feel it’s a perfect match for our band. We are big fans of the other acts and it’s gonna be a fun day of music.”
3-day and single day passes are all on sale now at memphofest.com.
