Taylor Sheridan’s TV series Yellowstone has been instrumental in the rise of independent country artists that mainstream country radio regularly ignores. One of the reasons some of your favorite performers have risen from obscurity is due to the series highlighting one or more of their songs, giving them both a handsome payday as well as exposure to a massive audience.
As Yellowstone (potentially) comes to a close, a new Taylor Sheridan-produced series called Landman streaming on Paramount+ with Yellowstone‘s Music Supervisor Andrea von Foerster looks to pick up where Yellowstone left off. In fact, Foerster has promised to pack even more songs into each episode, which we’ve seen from the series as it has transpired.
As songs are showcased in the series, a running tab will be kept here to help folks connect with something that might have connected with them.

Okay, so this is cool, all the exposure LANDMAN is giving artists.
And, speaking of music – just got home from the KANSAS concert.
Not one original member on stage.
HOWEVER, at the 1 hr. 43 min. mark, i was All In.
Some of the most A M A Z I N G musical talent I have ever seen.
GO, DEFINITELY go see KANSAS if they are in your area, & you can get tickets.

Wheeler Walker needs to write a song about Ali Larter’s character.

You absolutely have to listen to TALES AND TELLINGS, by Marques Morel. All his songs would fit into your Landman series and Yellowstone. He writes all his own music. Website= http://www.marquesmorel.com

Trigg, can’t we have a tv-series about SCM? Mike Harmeier would be perfect to play you as an adult. And you could be in charge of music. I’d love to hear what a SCM: The collage years:playlist, would sound like.

Kaitlin Butts song was playing in the background when they were around the pool at the country club. Noticed it wasn’t on the list

I was initially excited to watch this show, and the soundtrack speaks for itself.
But it’s a Taylor Sheridan production, and he only hires shitty writers.

I just turned on episode 1 and Mark Collie is in this series. Landman has a Ryan Bingham. Hopefully he sings in this series.

Any idea about the instrumental song playing at the opening of each episode? Sounds like Explosions In The Sky.

I believe it is an original composition composed for the series.

Found out it was Andrew Lockington – he’s collaborated with Taylor Sheridan on Lioness & Mayor Of Kingstown.

I had to IMDB it as well. It sounded like the music from Friday Night Lights TV to me. That kind of vibe.

What is the name, and who does the instrumental theme song during the opening credits? I love it, but I can’t find it anywhere?
