Ashley McBryde Announces Girl Going Nowhere Tour
It’s been Ashley McBryde’s underdog status that has motivated her to defy odds in the mainstream and do things her own way, and it resulted in much of the positive reception for her major label debut Girl Going Nowhere released earlier in 2018. The ironic title was made that much more poignant when she took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry to sing the title track, and stood in front of an arena crowd at an Eric Church concert where he introduced McBryde to his fan base. Ashley’s also been playing opening slots recently for Miranda Lambert and Luke Combs.
Now it’s time for McBryde to go places on her own, and that’s what she’ll be doing starting in September, and stretching through the end of the year as part of the Girl Going Nowhere Tour. The run will see multiple shows in the UK where she will once again reunite with Luke Combs, as well as a big opportunity at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. But mostly Ashley McBryde is hitting the club circuit to continue to fertilize the grassroots of her fan base in intimate settings mostly in the South and Midwest.
Ashley McBryde has become the unlikely country star whose song “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” continues to hold steady on country radio. Her music has a decidedly more rock edge to it, but still with country songwriting as its foundation that has created a fervent fan base crossing country music’s cultural divide.
The Girl Going Nowhere Tour has 30 dates officially, but Ashley will be playing festivals and other shows this summer, so check below for something near you.

I’ve been saying it for at least 5 years people.. My friend is gonna be a big deal. And once people see her live you’ll buy all the records and all the merch.. I promise. She did it the right way… Hey Nashville.. Money can make you famous but it can’t make you good.

Was checking to see if there was a DC date and if so, how big the venue was. The Hamilton! Cool. Great, intimate venue with about a 400 person capacity. Something tells me I should jump on this.

Rootstown, OH. Dusty Armadillo. I’m in.

Please don’t sell out, Ashley. At least renew some of my faith in mainstream country music.
May 24, 2018 @ 6:06 am

Looking forward to her playing our Windy City Smokeout. Should be a nice crowd of about 3 or 4 thousand when she opens for Aaron Lewis in the 5pm Saturday slot. The album’s in heavy rotation in my car, not a bad song on it. Nice diversity as well. Look at all those shows!!!!!
Not bad for Girl Going Nowhere………….

The Pigeon Forge show is free, if that makes a difference to anyone. It is also outdoors in the middle of a shopping mall with people drunk on free samples of moonshine. This may be a plus or a minus for you.

Going to do my best to make it to the show in Birmingham at Zydeco!
May 24, 2018 @ 10:16 am
Really bummed there is no show in the Austin/New Braunfels/San Antonio corridor.

New York, New York! Snapping these up ASAP because I *have* to see her on this tour.

Buffalo NY! It is so, so rare that good country musicians play any dates up here and we are getting Turnpike Troubadours and Ashley McBryde all in one year. Maybe the tide really is turning.
