Original Article:
Reigning Saving Country Music Artist of the Year Colter Wall is about to head out on tour, and as was warned when the tour was first announced, you better scarf up tickets now and see him in smaller venues when you still can, because this won’t last for long.
Starting on September 9th, over 50% of the dates on the tour have already sold out, with most of the other dates heading in that direction with low ticket numbers. Colter Wall has also announced that yes, he will have a full band with him on this stretch, despite playing a few shows earlier this year as a solo act.
Colter has also announced the openers for the tour, and it’s a stacked lineup of talent all unto itself. Summer Dean who just released a record, Riddy Arman who releases one on September 10th, Vincent Neil Emerson and Red Shahan who released stellar records earlier this year, the great Kristina Murray, The Local Honeys, and Mike Beck & Zack McGinn round out the list of openers. All these folks are worth seeing on their own.
Colter Wall had to unfortunately cancel his appearances at the Iowa and Missouri State Fairs, as well as at the Railbird Festival earlier this year, apparently due to logistical and travel issues. Though this tour does not require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test, some specific venues do, so check with the local venue.
As all the sold out dates below verify, Colter Wall is not going to be playing smaller venues for very long. See him while you can.

“some specific venues do…” Y’all’s outlaw selves won’t be walking up the very, very steep stairs of Thalia Hall (capacity only 800) without first proving y’all are fully vaccinated. And you better be wearing your mask downstairs at Dusek’s, except in the course of drinking your $13 old fashioned.

having been to a mask required show at Thalia…If you are anti mask, just keep a drink in your hand at all times…even if water, then you are actively drinking and are allowed to lower.

Why not tell people to tie a stick of dynamite around their heads and light it then hope and pray it does not go off. Tell me are you getting your horse dewormer pill? My God, conservatives really are that stupid. I cannot go back and forth with you guys because in a stupidity battle you guys will be heavily armed, i will have nothing and you will slaughter me every time. I only come here for the music , listening to the conservative propaganda you conservatives spew out on these posts , is starting to make my head hurt.

I feel like I’m way too rowdy to see Wall in this kind of setting.

Pretty sure Bend is sold out as well, and was within a day or two of going on sale. Think winning tickets on the radio station is all that’s left

I’ve got great seats at the Ryman for anyone willing to part with their firstborn and 1000 cash.
But serious, I’m selling my Ryman tickets.

gotta love it when ‘real’ ( COUNTRY ) music is not only recognized but supported . fortunately this fact doesn’t seem quite as rare as it threatened to become for COUNTRY misc. too many ”doin -it -my -way ” success stories to list . so , so encouraging .

Man, he better watch out having The Local Honeys open for him, haha! They’re incredible – went toe to toe with Childers as his opener.
The only time I saw Colter, Jade Bird opened with a solo set…and his full band felt like a low-energy, lackluster follow up, aha.
