Colter Wall Sets Rare Tour Dates for Fall of 2024

The old cowboy poets and Western singers of yesteryear had to think they were the last of the breed, like torches being held up at the dying of the light as the memories of the old cowboy ways slowly faded. Then here came a young man from Saskatchewan, Canada, who seemed to conjure all those old cowboy ghosts every time he opened his mouth, and all of a sudden, throngs of people found a love of old cowboy songs in their hearts once again.
Colter Wall tour dates are a very rare commodity to come by, and it’s perhaps even harder to secure tickets since demands often outpaces supply. That’s why you would be smart to be on top of these select new Colter Wall tour dates if you’re so inclined to see him perform live.
Adding to a limited run of shows Colter Wall played in January and February in the Western United States and California, Colter is now set to visit the upper mountain West and Midwest in late September and early October on what’s being called the “Colter Wall and Friends” tour. At the moment, we don’t exactly know who the “friends” will be, but we do know the dates.
Along with seven new headliner dates, Colter is also scheduled to appear at RedWest Fest in Salt Lake City on October 4th, as well as the FoxFire Music & Arts Festival in Ashland, KY on October 12th. He’ll squeeze all this in between his duties to the cattle ranch up in Saskatchewan.
Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale beginning on Wednesday, May 15 at 10 AM local time. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning on Friday, May 17 at 10 AM local time at colterwall.com.
Stay tuned for who the “friends” will be joining Colter Wall on the tour.

Colter is a treasure. I am also amazed at the number of people that I meet who know him and are really into it. His music is aging well with me. I think I am pretty familiar now with his discography and it is just great stuff

Would like him to come to the UK. He’d be most welcome as are all country artists.
While i’m on her thanks Trigger for your terrific site and wonderful articles,

I like him now but look forward even more to seeing what becomes of him and his work when he’s forty. Wall knows what he’s talking about. If he keeps writing and perfecting his craft, he’ll be in the top tier for sure.

Ashland is only a 30-40 minute drive and Charles Wesley Godwin is playing as well. I think I’ll try to make that one.

I flew from MA to OK just to see him play. Awesome show. Would love to see him again.

Only saw him live once and it was at the Somerville Theater Davis Square.. If I ever get the chance to go within a reasonably proximity, I am there.. OK is kinda crazy.. Was that the only reason for the trip?

Just got presale tickets for Saint Louis, couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see him since he rarely tours

Scored presale tickets to see him this time around! I couldn’t be more excited (even if I do have to travel out of state to see him play in the middle of the week). I tried to see him when he came to my city earlier this year but the bots ate up all the tickets. I saw him play at a club back when he was touring for Songs of the Plains. Haven’t seen him since and I was getting a little worried I might never again have the chance. Can’t wait!

Without question the Albuquerque show last year was one of the worst shows in terms of crowd behavior I’ve ever seen. It was astounding how many people there were fighting (special shout out to the two guys fighting on the right hand side who were obviously too old to be acting 21), throwing things at the stage, Colter had to stop the whole show mid song to deal with a passed out person in front of the stage who had to be escorted out, it was unbelievable. I’m all for having a good time but it’s pretty obvious that some people can’t handle a few beers and weren’t there for the music at all. Hopefully that won’t happen on this tour but I doubt it.
