Cross Canadian Ragweed + More Added to 2026 Mile 0 Fest
You’ll have another opportunity to see the recently reunified Cross Canadian Ragweed in 2026, but this time it won’t be in a stadium. It will be in the comparatively intimate amphitheater in beautiful Key West, Florida as part of Mile 0 Fest, January 27th to 31st.
Just announced on Wednesday (11-4), Cross Canadian Ragweed is joining the 2026 Mile 0 Fest lineup, which only makes sense after the band officially reunited there earlier this year, however inadvertently ahead of their massive Boys in Oklahoma blowout in Stillwater, OK. It happened to be that all the members were on Key West island at once, in part to watch their kids perform in bands, and jumped up on stage together during a Cross Canadian Ragweed tribute to play a few songs.
But that’s not all. Speaking of re-emerging artists legendary to the Texas/Red Dirt world, Bleu Edmonson has also joined the Mile 0 Fest roster, as has the upsurging Lance Roark known for writing songs for the Turnpike Troubadours. Graycie York has been sitting in with Cross Canadian Ragweed lately, and also joins the lineup, along with Julianna Rankin, Nicky James, Blake Lankford, and King Margo.
They all add to an already packed Mile 0 Fest roster (see below) where performers will play all across the island on stages that range from the Southernmost point in the United States, to Key West’s famed Sunset Pier, to the legendary Duval Street, and the nightly amphitheater shows. Some pretty good acts there!
1. Fullbright should always be the headliner of anything ever
2. Leon Majcen is great and I imagine an enjoyable show.
3. McMurtry has the best bass player in all of country and that is a no miss show!
4. Maybe Paul Cauthen will drop the pretend game he is playing and go back to country. Likely not though unfortunately.

Pedantry alert: Key West is the southernmost point in the CONTINENTAL US. Hawaii is well south of Key West.

Since Mile O started, it is typically my favorite week of the year. While the weather in KW in January can be hit or miss, it is always better than the weather in the upper Midwest. Some of those acts find their way to Wisconsin, but many only stop in Chicago. Excited to get back in January!
