DelFest Reveals STACKED 2026 Lineup
Get ready to get your Del on May 21-24 in Cumberland, Maryland, because that’s when the 2026 DelFest will be going down with an incredible list of talent. Originally founded in 2008 by bluegrass legend Del McCoury, the festival has emerged in recent years as one of the premier festivals in bluegrass and roots music.
Along with The Del McCoury Band and his sons The Travelin’ McCourys, you also have top line bluegrass outfits set to perform like Alison Krauss and Union Station, Sierra Hull, Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland, The Infamous Stringdusters, and more. There are also some blazing up-and-coming bands you can’t miss, namely Mountain Grass Unit and Shadowgrass.
What makes the 2026 DelFest lineup especially relevant around these parts is the inclusion of some strong traditional country acts in 2026, and even some Southern rock. Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives have signed on, as have The Malpass Brothers to go along with Blackberry Smoke, and the Toy Caldwell supergroup tribute Toy Factory Project (Marcus King, Charlie Starr +More) that is definitely worth seeing.
Other performers include Peter Rowan & Sam Grisman Project, Gaelic Storm, Maggie Rose, Sam Grisman Quintet, Southern Avenue, Sister Sadie, Chris Knight, Magoo, Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands, Driftwood, Dré Anders, Nicholas Jameson & The Morning Jays, and The Plate Scrapers.
29 total artists will be performing at the Allegheny County Fairgrounds. As Saving Country Music reported from DelFest in 2025, “The main attraction is a staggering amount of musical riches on three stages, spread out over hundreds of acres, giving a place for bluegrass, jam grass, country, and Americana artists to ply their trade before a friendly and welcoming crowd of music enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.”

I just saw a sold-out Mountain Grass Unit show last week. It was absolutely killer all around. Do not miss those boys when they come around!

Wow! The initial lineup was ok. The full lineup is extraordinary! I’m going to try and drive over there for at least one day (that time of the year is difficult for me).
Hopefully. the day will be Marty Stuart, Toy Factory Project, Mountain Grass Unit, Chris Freaking Knight, and Colby T. Helms ….
It’s like those posts where every artists is designated a $ and you are giving X amount of dollars to build a one day concert lineup … impossible.

Ronnie McCoury has a whole lot to do with the bookings for this fest. He just might be the hardest working man at these events. Hes literally everywhere, supervising all aspects and also making time to jam with as many of the acts as possible. The other McCoury Family members all have a role as well. Its a killer experience and you can tell how much The McCourys are vested into the experience.
