Hell yes. They played a few of these songs at Muddy Roots…hell, new music was about all they played in their official set. I enjoyed Bastard Child though. This album is going to be great.

I second what Sandman said. The new songs are great! I was a little bummed that “World Coming to An End” isn’t on here, but Rusty Knuckles hinted that it might show up on some other release, so that’s exciting. Can’t wait for this!

From my understanding, there’s probably still an Excavators EP or album on the way that will be more oriented toward what the “Hellbound Glory” lineup is doing now, with no drummer and Leroy Virgil sitting on the bass drum. You might find that song on that. From my understanding, “Damaged Goods” still has the full sound with the full drums.

I did not know that Triggerman, I assumed the new album was the new configuration. As much as I enjoy the Excavators sound, I love the original Hellbound Glory sound!

I just pre-ordered the vinyl/shirt package. It’s a good year for new music.

Me too! Pretty excited for this album.

Right now with the current lineup, the fellas are focused on the new album, Damaged Goods and giving it a proper push. We have a few videos being done in the upcoming weeks along with some bigger tours set up for 2012 with larger acts. The Excavators material will definitely be recorded and released sometime soon. From our end, we are all damn stoked to get this album out and help get Hellbound Glory to the next level.

Love what these guys are doing, make sure they come back down to Florida… preferably Tampa.

Great new song in the YouTube video… Saw these guys in Billings, MT last year and they were awesome. Looking forward to the new album!

Can’t wait for this. Hellbound Glory is raw and fantastic. But man I hate it when people talk when a band is playing. STFU and listen to the music!

Hear, hear! Saw Steve Earle a couple months back and it was a huge problem no matter where we moved around to in the place. Everybody seemed to be under the impression that he was their own personal background music for a night out, not a headlining performer who deserved their undivided attention. Not to mention it’s just totally fucking inconsiderate to the handful who just want to actually focus on the show and the music.
On topic, totally looking forward to this. I pre-ordered the vinyl and a koozie.

Only 11 comments on this? Pathetic. Really looking forward to this one!

WOW, their sound is maturing and sounds great.
probably means the hardcores on hear will hate them.
Vrig sporting the “Hank” jr. hat on the website too.
probably means the hardcores will hate him. haha.
Looking forward to 11/15.

This is a great album. It’s a bit slicker than the past two, and a bit quieter. But the songs are SO damn good! If you are a fan of Leroy Virgil’s songwriting, I can personally recommend you go pre-order this right now!
