Hey Chris Brown, So I Heard You May Want to Go Country
Hey Chris….Chris Brown. Yeah, you. Hey it’s Trigger, aka “The Triggerman” from savingcountrymusic.com. Hey I just wanted to tug on your ear for a second, because I heard that you “might want to do a country album.” I remember hearing this from you a few years back as well.
Look man, I’d go as far as taking up arms for the rights of anyone to make whatever artistic expression they so choose. But on the behalf of the people of country music, I’d like to graciously request that you keep your woman-beating, Auto-tuning, lip-syncing, shitty-music making, metrosexual-doucher, getting-in-fights-in-swanky-nightclubs-over-idiotic-rap-turf-wars ass the hell away from anything that could ever be associated or construed with or even misrepresented as country music.
Please and thank you.
Because this is the deal Chris. There’s some folks out there that exist in the country music world whose music I don’t particularly care for, but that doesn’t mean I think they are bad people. If I happened to meet them in person, I’d shake their hand and show them the general respect most any human should be afforded. But you Chris Brown are a special type of evil, demented, and narcissistic form of human refuse. You have figured out a way where despite all of your disgusting and hideous actions, to make yourself out as the victim in an insidious contortion of the true nature of victimhood that some of your previous lovers and cohorts find themselves in, despite whatever brainwashed actions on the outside the public may see. We all make mistakes. What separates us is who is willing to take responsibility for those mistakes, and who isn’t.
And what’s up with this line, “Music is for everyone. When you put genres on music, you segregate it.” Yes, what an enlightened, altruistic, builder of bridges you are Mr. Brown, but I seem to remember just six weeks ago when you went on a narcissistic rant in a nightclub, alluding to how you believe men own women, and specifically their private parts, saying, “Don’t make me have to tell you again, that’s my pussy! So every person in this motherf**king building, if you got a bad bitch you better say that shit to her, or she might f**k another nig*a.”
And why say you want to make a country album if you don’t believe in genres? Oh, and thank you for alluding to country music as a repository for washed-up, aging talent when you said you may make a country album when you’re “older.” I’d rather see a battalion of Sheryl Crows “go country” than to even hear one “crossover” song from your pathetic ass. The only reason you’re popular is because of this unhealthy, American obsession with the bad-boy archetype and the voyeuristic fascination with the self-destruction of celebrity. You’re a living example of the sickening objectification of women, and how to break down women’s self-esteem to control them. So please Chris Brown, stay the hell away from country.
Have a blessed day,
–Trigger

Well, bring on the gangsta-talking douchebags that piled up here the last time you ranted about this moron…. I don’t understand why you even bother adressing this sorry excuse for a musician….

Because I don’t want this prick calling his music country, or equating genres to “segregation.”

Maybe we’ll luck out and see that creep OD on some sizzurp before he makes any kind of crossover recording.

I can’t wait til he just fades away from the limelight. I’m so sick of all things Chris Brown. He’s a complete waste of a life. And I’d rather listen to “Accidental Racist” “Dirt Road Anthem” or “1994” than any “country” song he’d ever sing. And that’s saying a lot considering I couldn’t listen to the first 15 seconds of those songs, and “Dirt Road Anthem” is the reason I stopped listening to country radio.

My greatest short-term fear is that Florida Georgia-Line will continue to trot out Mainstream Top 40 remixes to their preceding hit country singles (i.e. releasing a remix for “Get Your Shine On” after “Cruise” runs its course on Pop airwaves) and because Chris Brown is one of the most (for Jove knows what reason) ubiquitous features in Top 40 songs at the moment…………the chances are real that he will wind up a feature on a future re-mix! -__-
I’m actually equally as worried that it is only a matter of time until Pitbull crosses over too: given that Tim McGraw invited him to be a part of his televised concert. I can easily see Luke Bryan and Pitbull collaborating! -__-

I continue to believe that Florida Georgia Line is one of the biggest threats in country music right now. They’re having unbelievable success, “Cruise” is back at the top of the charts. I feel like they are becoming mega-stars and the industry is slow to recognize it.

I agree.
“Here’s to the Good Times” is selling remarkably well week by week. It’s already Gold and shows no signs of slowing down especially with the Nelly-featured “Cruise” remix approaching the Top Twenty on Mainstream Top 40 radio. I can (sadly) easily see the album producing as many as five, even six, singles………and worse yet I feel “It’z Just What We Do” and “Dayum, Baby” will be among them since both will probably be pushed aggressively to the Mainstream Top 40 audience as well.
I don’t see them going away anytime within the next three years at least. And when they do fall out of favor it will sadly primarily be because a lot of impostors will inevitably pop up that pander to the designer jeans-wearing frat “country” niche.

Those douche boys Florida Georgia Line will be The Tonight Show soon. Those tweens, teens and twenty somethings that are the core of their fan base will keep them hot till something else crawls along.

What is Nashville coming to? It is going way down hill. I’m almost 20 and I listen to ole Hank Williams and his grandson, Hank 3. my favorite Hank Sr. song is Honky Tonk Blues. I get so aggravated when I hear Dirt Road Anthem. I mean, what in the hell is that about? I can’t stand Jason Aldean. Long live the great ones! Especially my second favorite country star Waylon. Clyde is absolutely my favorite song. My first favorite is Hank 3. There’s something about his style country I like. Its addicting. I also like Sturgill Simpson, Johnny Cash, Lucky Tubb, Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, Jerry Reed, and Rebel Son. If any of you haven’t heard Guitar Town by Steve Earle, you should. Its pretty good. He has an awesome steel guitar sound in it.

Matthew 7:1-5
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ”˜Let me take the speck out of your eye,”™ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

1 Timothy 2:11-15
Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing.
1 Corinthians 14:34
The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.

I have a hunch that he is referring to Chris Brown’s philosophy regarding women. Although the verses are sort of out of context, but that is what most people do with the Bible; use it how it fits their agenda. No offense Trigger, just that it is quite common.

Personally I hope Chris Brown stays away from music all together. I hope the closet thing he gets to in his cellmate in jail. Record companies won’t back Kellie Picker for making a REAL country album but this shit gets all the support he needs. Take about life ain’t fair.
When I go to club sometimes I find myself dancing full throttle with a woman or women and we get into this groove and then Chris Brown comes on and I sit down. I refuse to support him by using my energy on the floor to dance to his songs. The women look at me funny and ask if I am tired. If I explain myself I get an even weirder look before they usually go back to dancing or get drink. And I’m thinking wait- I’m a man protesting this twat and you WOMEN like him and will support him. It just feels so odd to me and don’t even get me started on the comments on his YouTube videos.
If anyone EVER came out in support of Hitler today they’d get a shitstorm of anger and yet CB has all these girls saying things like, “I’d let him beat me up.” and it is not a joke.
