New Unbroken Circle Music Festival Boasts Stacked Lineup

Well now this is what we’re talking about.
The inaugural Unbroken Circle Fest has just announced their lineup for 2025, and it is stacked top to bottom with country and roots music greats. As exciting as the headliners Marcus King Band and the Turnpike Troubadours are, every name up and down the poster is worthy of praise, from Charles Wesley Godwin, to Silverada, to the legendary Ricky Skaggs, to songwriters Drayton Farley and Cole Chaney, to Sunny Sweeney and Cristina Vane.
They’re all scheduled to take the stage at Bicentennial Park in Madison, Indiana September 4-6.
This might officially be the inaugural year for Unbroken Circle Fest, but the organizers behind the festival have been putting festivals together in the area since 2018, namely the Roostertail Festival as part of the greater Madison Regatta. Roostertail is also happening in 2025, but with Dustin Lynch headlining along with a bunch of mainstream up-and-comers.
“After successfully producing Roostertail Music Festival since 2018, we’re thrilled to embark on this new chapter,” the festival says. “Bringing quality, independent music to Madison has always been our dream, and now presents the perfect opportunity to truly invest in our own festival.”
Though Unbroken Circle is locally promoted, the lineup is nationally appealing, making it perfect as a destination festival, but one where you don’t have to break the bank to get or stay there, but also get to see national talent on a big stage.
“Our passion for music is highlighted by our name,” Unbroken Circle says. “Named after the timeless song ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’ written in 1907, as a nod to the pioneers of country music and a salute to current artists who honor these diverse roots. The circle is unbroken because the music is handed down from generation to generation, a tradition we are dedicated to preserving in everything we do.”

It’s about time that we recognize Silverada as the best band in country music right now. Bar none.

Been screaming it from the rafters over here for a while now.

Mike and The Moonpies aka Silverada is the most underrated band in country music for the past 8 years. That whole band especially Zach on steel are ridiculous.

No Sierra Ferrell? Forget about it.

Sierra Ferrell is an artist, not a band. And if you’re concern is why she’s not on this lineup, she’s a little busy this year with her own tour and opening stadiums for Post Malone.

The organizers of this festival do an amazing job! We attended Roostertail last year and it was great! We stayed an extra day after the festival because Madison, IN was a nice little town! Please show your support by making your way to Unbroken Music Festival this September!

I’m really hoping Turnpike, CWG, Silverada, and JSB are all booked on the first day. That’s the only day as of now they’re selling single day passes. It would sure be nice since it’s only a 2 hour drive. I’m sure I won’t get that lucky lol.

Does look like a great show. Though it would be nice to have an idea of when everyone is playing. Not really a stay all weekend type person.

Well i did check it out. There is cliffty falls state park around it which would be nice to explore. Its not super far away from me, 2 hours prob. This year might be tight but ill keep an eye out for the future.

Great lineup!
Turnpike Troubadours are part of every festival this year. Even Outlaw Music Festival.

I bet Paul Cauthen will still be on his bender by then
February 8, 2025 @ 10:06 am
Checked with the promoters and they said Paul Cauthen is still scheduled to perform despite the near-term cancellations. But we’ll see.

Dallas Moore should not go unmentioned. Great live act.

I know I’m an annoying broken record on this and I KNOW you have get acts that draw the money but on 99% festivals of any genre woman maybe make up 3-5% of the names in big letters (if that). And it only gets better as the letters get smaller. Sarah McLachlan PROVED in the 90s woman can sell a whole line up. So are these organizers just doing the same old same old top brass mentality, or are women really just not that big of a draw. And if so why not?
I saw Ashley McBryde last year at a sold out show and wondered when is this powerhouse gonna headline a festival. Same with Sierra Ferrell. Also Emmylou Harrus closes out HSB every ear and every year the park is PACKED by her stage even when she is competing with Greensky Bluegrass!
