New Viewing Options Open Up for Alan Jackson’s Final Concert

When Alan Jackson announced his final concert for June 27th at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, concert tickets soared to exorbitant prices, and sold out immediately when they went on sale. Along with Alan Jackson, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Lee Ann Womack, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Riley Green, and others were originally announced as performers.
Since then, even more talent has been added, including George Strait and Lainey Wilson. Also scheduled to perform are members of Alan Jackson’s family, including nephews Adam Wright and Big City Brian Wright, along with Big City Brian Wright’s daughter, Carlisle Wright.
Obviously, demand to be at the concert has far exceeded supply. But as the concert nears, new viewing options have opened up for folks who can’t be there in person. First and foremost, NBC has confirmed that there will be a full film crew there taping the whole thing for later distribution as a primetime concert special. Though no date has been confirmed for when it will air, this will give everyone the opportunity to see it.
For those who can’t view the television special, it will be made available for streaming the day after (not the concert, but the TV special) on NBC’s streaming service Peacock indefinitely.
Furthermore, for those who want more immediate gratification, they have two options of how to view Alan Jackson’s portion of the concert in real time, even if they can’t be there in person. The Country Music Hall of Fame will be opening up their CMA Theater that will broadcast a live feed from the concert. Tickets are (or were) free, though you needed to reserve them. The venue has since been sold out for the event.
However, Belmont University in Nashville is also opening up their Fisher Center where fans can witness the same live feed, and they still have tickets available. All proceeds of every ticket purchased will go toward launching the Alan Jackson Legacy endowed scholarship at Belmont University, which will support aspiring musicians and artists for generations to come. There will also be a live band performing at the event before the live feed begins.
Only a few lucky souls will get to witness Alan Jackson’s final show up close and personal. But luckily, provisions are now in place to make sure none of us miss it entirely.

I owned his first greatest hits on VHS. Yes, I just dated myself. I hope this’ll make it to vinyl and/or bluray.
June 16, 2026 @ 7:07 am
How you going to go from VHS straight to vinyl without stopping the the holy grail of media systems, the 8-track
June 16, 2026 @ 3:35 pm
I had a ‘69 Camaro that a prior owner put in an 8 track player. I had an 8 track of Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen so I could play “Hot Rod Lincoln”.
I was a young’un then.

This is such good news! So glad NBC and Peacock are making it available to everyone!
June 15, 2026 @ 1:23 pm
So, essentially, it’s not Alan Jackson’s concert, but a joint show were lesser talents will wreck his songs.
Sad.
June 15, 2026 @ 1:47 pm
Alan Jackson will be performing from around 8:30 – 10:00. People will get a full Alan Jackson concert. Everyone else will play before him, and most of those performers will likely only sing a few songs, perhaps one of their own, and one of Alan’s.
June 15, 2026 @ 2:08 pm
Good.
June 15, 2026 @ 7:27 pm
Doesn’t seem to make a whole lot of sense.
Generally, the reason for showing up at someone else’s farewell concert is to interact with the “honoree”–or whatever you want to call him. Come on stage with him, talk about him, maybe join in singing with him, etc.
If they’re going to appear separately and BEFORE Jackson starts, and if they each sing one of his songs, then what’s Alan going to do–re-sing the songs that the people have just heard? Or the guests won’t sing any of the big songs–just some album cuts and lesser singles? Why?
I’m sure the people who have organized this are highly experienced at presenting live events and know what they’re doing. They must have something planned involving Jackson and all the other names that they’re not disclosing.

I definitely don’t want to characterize that nobody will join Alan Jackson as a special guest during his set. But with the announcement the Hall of Fame made about the live stream, it made it seem that Jackson will be the grand finale, because that is the only pointion that will be live streamed. With so much talent and Jackson retiring due to health issues, I don;t expect him to be on stage starting at 3:00 pm in the June sun and never leave.
June 16, 2026 @ 2:16 pm
The announcements being made from Belmont and Hall of Fame are referring to the opening acts (his family). Those will not be at the livestream venues. The special guests (George, Lainey , etc) will each perform a song with Alan during the show, they aren’t getting their own sets.

Damn, I thought I was grumpy sometimes.
June 15, 2026 @ 3:11 pm
Sofus is the consummate wet blanket.
June 16, 2026 @ 8:17 am
That’s flattering, but I wrote something nice just a few months ago
June 18, 2026 @ 6:47 am
Actually Sofus, about a week or so ago, you wrote a nice reply to one of my comments.
Thanks!
June 19, 2026 @ 3:39 pm
Tom; so I’m nicer than I thought! Damn, I’m getting old and soft.

The fact the CMHoF made their tickets free for the livestream viewing is surprising. While Belmont charging $40-$60 to view a livestream may go to a good cause, it is still overpriced for staring at a screen (which most people at Nissan Stadium will be doing anyway). Also, if they have the capability of broadcasting the livestream in real time to those two venues, there would be nothing stopping Team Jackson from selling livestream passes to the general public… well, aside from the deal with NBC/Peacock probably prohibiting it. Maybe they just wanted to avoid a Netflix- or Amazon-level livestream catastrophe due to the presumed demand and technical requirements.

I have been an Alan Jackson fan since he came on the country scene. He is my favorite, a true “Country” singer. I wish him good health in his retirement.
June 17, 2026 @ 1:42 pm
I agree, he is great singer and very kind person! I met him in person once and he smile melted my heart!
June 15, 2026 @ 2:45 pm
If the Kenny Rogers final concert video release was any benchmark, I am expecting to be disappointed. It will probably be chopped to pieces and only portions of the concert will be shown from the taping.
June 15, 2026 @ 2:45 pm
I wish one of the options would include viewing the version without the guest performers…….
June 15, 2026 @ 3:13 pm
Apparently the Hall of Fame and Belmont stream is only going to include Alan Jackson. I wouldn’t be surprised if the special does too. Obtaining song permissions for broadcast is a whole thing.
June 18, 2026 @ 12:35 am
I’m expecting him to be joined by a bunch of guests throughout his set for some shitty duets. Hope I’m wrong.
June 15, 2026 @ 7:45 pm
I love Alan Jackson.🩷. He is my favorite singer. I’ve seen him about 7 or 8 times in concert. He sounds just like he does on his CDs when he sings on stage. I can’t wait for his concert to be shown on TV.
June 19, 2026 @ 5:58 pm
Maybe he mimes?
June 15, 2026 @ 7:56 pm
Glad to hear it will be recorded (hope NBC still would’ve covered it even if all those others weren’t added….and they show the whole dang thing, specifically his set) but still very, very sad. He’s probably the truest keeper of the torch of his generation. Blessed that I pulled my half dead pneumonia body out of the hospital at 14 to make it to his show in 2004, but will forever regret missing out on his show we actually had good seats for in 2022 when it was postponed and then cancelled. He’s a the real deal and always will be ❤️
June 16, 2026 @ 8:14 am
Sounds similar to Kenny Rogers’ last concert. It may be released as a CD/DVD package as that was.
June 16, 2026 @ 11:27 am
I will be watching him, he is the best singer in the world,I love you Alan Jackson and I hope someday we can meet
June 16, 2026 @ 4:00 pm
Thanks to a friend at RCA, I saw Jackson live years ago when he was in his prime. The music was great, Alan sounded amazing, but it was little boring. I was happy to have gone, but I never had the urge to see him live again. I still love AJ’s music, though. I hope this final show goes off without a hitch and everyone who watches live and through the live feed have a great time!
June 16, 2026 @ 4:44 pm
Never ever striated from his country roots except a few Buffet tunes , RESPECT!!!!
June 19, 2026 @ 7:33 am
You may want to do an update to the story since they announced yesterday that the livestream will be broadcast for free in downtown Nashville that same night. I would send the hyperlink if the spam bots wouldn’t catch me, but it is on the news section of Alan’s website and on his social media.
June 19, 2026 @ 9:17 am
I might update this story, but nobody will see it. I’ll probably do a separate article on the new viewing option.
June 19, 2026 @ 9:18 am
I was going to suggest that, but I wasn’t going to tell you what to do with your website! 😂
June 28, 2026 @ 12:24 pm
