It’s available on most all streaming formats (see below), or you can just use the song, artist, and album recommendations to find something new to listen to. New songs have just been added.
Newest Additions:
Melissa Carper – “Makin’ Memories” – What a great throwback tune this is from the venerable Melissa Carper who has been entertaining for years from behind the upright bass in a number of different outfits, including The Carper Family, and the duo The Buffalo Gals. Co-produced by Dennis Crouch of The Time Jumpers, “Makin’ Memories” gets you super excited for Melissa’s solo record Daddy’s Country Gold due out March 19th.
Luke Bell – “Jealous Guy” – Luke Bell has been one of the most authentic voices to emerge in country music in the last decade, and one of the most elusive performers over the past few years. First recorded in 2016 around the release of his self-titled album as a standalone acoustic performance for Amazon, Luke Bell’s cover of John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” might not be the debut single from a new album many are hoping for, but anything new with Luke Bell’s name on it is welcome. Uncle Ben’s Remedy – “Drink To Remember” – From western New York, where the rural route meets the rust belt, the blistery north wind brings lake-effect blizzards that curl your toes and cut to the bone, and rock & roll intertwines with redneck music to inspire local kids with little hope of making it otherwise to bust their knuckles putting emotions into hard-edged songs, that’s how you get a blue collar band like Uncle Ben’s Remedy. From their recent release Easy Ways to Here.
Conrad Fisher – “Hello Good Times” – There are a lot of great tracks on this Pennsylvania songwriter’s debut record Homemade, but this one might be the most fun, sending you right back to the the early era of Bakersfield country with this style and approach. It’s good times for sure.
Dale Watson – “Hernando’s Swang” – Dale Watson is digging even deeper into his recently-established Memphis roots, and presenting the first ever instrumental album in his prolific career when he releases The Memphians on February 26th. First relocating part-time to Memphis in 2017, Watson has since established himself as an important revivalist and preservationist in the “Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock ’n’ Roll.” Exploring the rich sounds of the city’s history is what the new record is all about. Melissa Carper IS Daddy’s Country Gold. So good.
February 7, 2021 @ 11:51 am
Really good song. Really looking forward to this new record.

Trig, have you heard Kane Brown’s “BFE”? Seems like a bone thrown, but it’s Super Bowl Sunday and I’m feeling charitable like.
February 7, 2021 @ 11:52 am
Yeah, Kane Brown has dropped a couple of these over the years. Certainly wouldn’t include it here. He’s always had a knack of singing classic country when he chooses. The frustrating part is he chooses it so infrequently.
February 7, 2021 @ 12:21 pm
Agreed, it’s like dropping a bone and then saying just kidding.
Meanwhile, Tyler Childers. Speaking of writers, Kevin Denny and Bradley Gaskin have some solid material.

I adored Kevin Denney’s self-titled album. Correct Me If I’m Right is a gem and should’ve been a single, and Cadillac Tears and That’s Just Jessie are still just as good today as they were in the early 2000s.
February 8, 2021 @ 8:38 am
Cadillac Tears is still on my heavy rotation. Great, but unfortunately a forgotten song.

Good mainstream country list:
Made for You – Jake Owen
Next Girl – Carly Pearce
We were Rich – Runaway June
Whiskey and Rain – Michael Ray
Things a Man Oughta Know – Lainey Wilson
If it wasn’t for Trucks – Riley Green
Lady Like – Ingrid Andres

I adore Next Girl, We Were Rich, Things a Man Oughta Know, and Lady Like! I think if I were to have a theme song, it would definitely be Lady Like.
February 7, 2021 @ 2:14 pm
Still lovin’ that Max Flinn tune, it’s a nice little jam. Looking forward to the album.

Off topic, but Margo Price & now Mickey Guyton are out on Twitter trying to knock Luke Combs out again… Have you seen Mickey’s lastest tweet? it’s in reference to an old music video that Luke was part of. Mickey said she’s heartbroken over it..
If Luke wasn’t the A-Lister that he currently is… I wonder if they would still be tweeting about him.
Having said that, Combs should address the controversy. Many of the tweets have gone viral & have hundreds of retweets. Him ignoring it doesn’t look good. People are already creating a fake narrative about him….
February 7, 2021 @ 4:03 pm
The best thing he can do is ignore it.
Stop pandering to these little narcissistic witches.
As much as i was liking Mickey, am over her crap.
And Margo, needs her ass sued to the ground
February 7, 2021 @ 7:44 pm
Agreed. Luke makes good music (not always to my taste) and keeps quiet about what he doesn’t know.
Much respect to the guy, I wish this wasn’t an exceptional thing.
As soon as you start to play the twitter game, you either do it full time or stay right off.
Isbell had it right about the high road and not meeting in the ditch. Too bad him and all his ilk have become ditch-dwellers.
February 7, 2021 @ 3:23 pm
Not sure if anyone cares but Jenee Fleenor recently teased that she played fiddle on a recently recorded Dustin Lynch future release…. Shocked… I think these mainstream bro artists are finally growing up & adding better instrumentation on their music.. Good, promising news but I’ll still hold my breath in regards to ole Dusty
February 8, 2021 @ 8:02 am
LOVE Melissa Carper
February 8, 2021 @ 11:28 am
I would put the whole Calico Jim – Pony Bradshaw album on this list. Best of the year so far.
February 9, 2021 @ 1:29 pm
Thanks for the Melissa Carper recommendation, really nice song! Looking forward to the album!
