It was a fiery set of music from Childers, who played some of his most-requested songs that he hasn’t been playing live recently. Tyler Childers also introduced a new member into his backing band, the Food Stamps, and it’s a familiar face.

Southern California-based country guitar player and teacher Jay Lawless was brutally beaten by unknown assailants and for unknown reasons in the Orange County city of Westminster near his home. Assaulted to within an inch of his life and left for dead, it has put Lawless in an ICU.
