From Taylor Swift’s recent surprise album ‘Folklore,’ the most folkish or “country” song from the collection called “Betty” is being sent to country radio as a proper radio single. It was sent officially to many radio affiliates on Thursday (7-30) after numerous stations were already playing the track.

Country Star Randy Barlow Has Passed Away

Traditional country artist Randy Barlow, known for his string of Top 10 hits in the late 70’s, and for being a staunch supporter of traditional country music throughout his life, has passed away after a battle with Cancer. Barlow was placed in hospice care, and passed away Thursday morning (7-30). He was 77-years-old.

Merle Haggard Biopic Movie Acquired by Amazon

The biopic will be based on the Merle Haggard memoir Sing Me Back Home, with much of the picture to be centered around the 60’s, and the tumultuous time in Merle’s life when many of the most iconic moments in his career occurred, including escaping from local jails 17 times and ending up in San Quentin Prison in California.
