“The Mirror” is a Trisha Yearwood album. It’s an album that feels inspired, passionate, and purposeful. It’s the best album Trisha Yearwood could make in this season of her career.

0 CommentsIf you’re reading this right now and you are not a MySpace friend of Wayne you should ramble over there and send him a friend request. The main reason is because Wayne checks the Reinstate Hank petition pretty much every day and looks for cool messages people have posted there, and then shares them will […]

Ike Hits Close to Home & .357 String Band
0 CommentsI’m happy to announce that the GREAT .357 String Band has a new MySpace profile. PLEASE everyone gets your ass over there and add them. Their other profile was irrevocably infected with spambot crap, and has to be 86’d. I’ve been trying to help them with this because I think this is one of the […]

The Highwaymen & Hank VS. The Here and Now
0 CommentsI found this on Charlie G’s page. It’s about as poignant and true as it gets. Sure, these old farts are straining to harmonize and the whole thing seems a little contrived, but the verses are so true it hurts. Charlie G. pointed out in the comments of my last blog that the Grand Ole […]
