The Electric Horseman (and some JMC stuff)
0 CommentsI’m going to address this JMC thing real quickly, but I’m not going to linger on it. I started this thing to help out Hank III, Hank Sr., and all the great underground country music artists out there, and I’m not going to be derailed by anyone or anything. Just so you know, Sugar, a […]
More DRRP Reviews & What is Sidewalk Records?
0 CommentsReviews keep coming in for Damn Right, Rebel Proud . Here’s a new one from The Boot: “Hank Williams III, as his name suggests, is third-generation country-music royalty. But the grandson of Hank Williams, and son of Hank Williams Jr., unabashedly blends the family tradition of “good ol’ country,” with some startlingly darker fare, and […]
Help A Friend Out
1 CommentSo I’d like to be writing today about the new reviews out for Hank III’s new album Damn Right, Rebel Proud, or maybe about the Metal Farm Magazine I got in the mail this morning. Or maybe I would be writing Forgotten Outlaw Part 3 or Ode to the Hellbetties of the past. But instead, […]
Free Hank III Takes the Pop Country Challenge
4 CommentsSo a couple of times when I’ve posted a roasting of a some pop country blowhard, I’ll get someone to send me a message similar to this: Hey Dumbass, (or whatever) So you talk shit about pop country, but you admit you never listen to it. So how would you know if it sucks or […]
One Big Goddamn Hellbilly Family
0 CommentsSaturday morning I woke up after sleeping one off, and listened to Tim Pop’s 100th podcast, and then listened to It Burns When I Pee’s latest offering. Both shows were great, and after listening, I got this weird sense, like there was something big going on. Something very big. I guess I’ve always known that […]

Early Reviews Of Damn Right, Rebel Proud Are In !!
1 CommentFirst off, thanks to EVERYONE who spent the time to report the fake Hank III site here on MySpace, and thanks to Declared Ungovernable for sniffing it out. I got something else to say here, just so it’s set in stone, and it is not aimed at any particular person or situation, but it’s something […]
Ode to the Hellbetties!!! (of the present)
2 CommentsFirst of all, if you did not catch all of the news about it all over the bulletin board, Hank Williams legendary steel guitar player Don Helms died yesterday. I’d done a blog on him about a month ago after he suffered a minor heart attack, and you can read it by clicking here. Most […]
Forgotten Outlaws (Part 2)
1 CommentBefore I get into the meat of part 2, I forgot to mention in part 1 that Shel Silverstein ALSO was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2002. But I’m a little confused about this, because he died in 1999, and as the Grand Ole Opry has told us over and over […]
Forgotten Outlaws (Part 1)
0 CommentsSome of the coolest shit that happens in these blogs happens down in the comment section. I hope all you people read down there too, because they usually have just as much good information as up above. My last blog was no exception. Wayne gave us the great story behind the song Up Against the […]

Great news for us, bad news for the Nashville mob bosses. –The release of the Hank III Collector’s Tin HAS […]
