Sierra Ferrell Announces Spring 2023 Tour

Ain’t no trick. Sierra Ferrell has just announced her next national tour in the Spring of 2023, and you better reach for tickets like the one full-sized Snickers bar in a bowl of Smarties. This might be one of your final opportunities to see her in a more intimate venue, which you should take full advantage of if she’s traveling anywhere near you. The fast-rising country/roots artist is on the tip of many people’s tongues when they list off some of the best artists to see live at the moment.
Not only is Sierra Ferrell worth seeing live, she has also booked some of the greatest places to see live music as part of this tour. From the legendary Gruene Hall in Texas and Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, to the Georgia Theatre in Athens to The Fillmore in San Francisco, these are the kinds of venues it’s always worth finding an excuse to frequent.
Music this supposedly dated and fey should never find a wide audience in today’s automated world. But similar to Colter Wall and other revivalists, it’s the magic with which Sierra Ferrell delivers her interpretation of Appalachian mountain music that makes it feel so immediate and vital. The West Virginia native may come across more like an apparition than a mortal, but her music is steadfastly grounded in the roots, and palpably authentic.
Sierra Ferrell is as fantastic as some fictional character. Her talent is other-worldly. Her command of her music is incomparable. Her cranium sprouts a unique flower crown cornucopia each time she appears in public. And when she sings, you’re transported to an entirely different space and time. Don’t duff this by sitting at home binging Netflix.
Many of these dates will sell out. Pre-sale begins Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 10 AM local and ends Thursday, Nov. 3 at 10 PM local. You can sign up for the artist pre-sale on Sierra Ferrell’s website. Public on-sale begins Friday, November 4 at 10 AM local.

“…and you better reach for tickets like the one full-sized Snickers bar in a bowl of Smarties.”
: D Laughing. You got that right! ????
(and there’s nothing like pulling an ice cold Snickers bar out of the ice chest, when you come up from diving & spearfishing)
Oh, Alright … making love after a nap, after the ice cold Snickers & fresh pineapple, is the icing on the cake.

Big Tex and I are seeing her April 23rd show while we vacation in Colorado on a business trip
October 31, 2022 @ 2:29 pm
$25 ticket / 507 capacity venue / 2.2 miles from home; very doable.
October 31, 2022 @ 6:54 pm
Last year I saw her, $25 per ticket, 50 capacity venue, at the beach, 9 miles north of my office.

I found out about her just after she played Toronto early this year. Would love to get a chance to see the live show!

Hopefully I don’t miss this one. I had tickets for my wife and I to see her last year and broke my ankle the morning of the show, so didn’t go. My wife and I typically don’t agree on music, but she was excited for that one and was pissed when I wouldn’t limp my ass to the show. I probably should have sucked it up and went as Nick Shoulders was there and I also really like him.

I hope she expands this to the East cost of the US/Canada. She absolutely blew me away at Under the Big Sky when my wife and I were there on vacation. I’d travel a few states over to catch her show if I had to.
November 5, 2022 @ 7:22 am
I noticed that too, only 3 cities are in the eastern time zone. DC and Philly have places she could play.

Sierra & Tyler need to record music together and then tour. Would.

I’m curious about the size of some the venues. When I saw her last year, she probably didn’t have 200 people in the audience – still was an amazing show. Her pollstar numbers are just a few hundred. I’m sure she’s blown up some in the last year but I’m a little worried for these 1000 plus cap rooms feeling sparse.

chicago’s lincoln hall is probably ~500 or so capacity.
November 1, 2022 @ 9:48 am
That makes sense. I am thinking more about the Vogue in Indy, which has 1,100 capacity.
November 2, 2022 @ 3:33 pm
Well some tickets popped up from Spotify for her show in Louisville. I decided to buy. Price not too bad and I like her sound. Haven’t told the girlfriend. I think she will like her.
November 3, 2022 @ 9:41 am
A talent like her doesn’t come around all that often. Make the effort to see her show!
November 5, 2022 @ 7:00 pm
Bummer she’s from the tri-state area, but isn’t playing anywhere here. Would’ve like to have seen her
