Sierra Ferrell is one of the best artists to catch live in independent country and roots music at the moment, and lucky for us she’s just dropped a huge bushel of live dates stretching into the spring of 2022. Already touring relentlessly through the end of the year with numerous sold out dates, and heading to the United Kingdom in January, she’s now added dates across the United States, living up to her status as a nomad and gypsy.
Joining her on the recently-announced dates will be Saving Country Music favorite Nick Shoulders, who is the preeminent singing, yodeling, whistling, mulleted and mustachioed country music weirdo of our time, and definitely worth seeing in his own right. Other dates will be opened by Timbo, who is a master of taditional country and crooked hats.
It’s said often but especially worth emphasizing in this instance: Sierra Ferrell is one of these artists that you should take advantage of seeing in smaller venues while you still have the opportunity. With all the folks bellyaching about their favorite artists selling out Red Rocks and other big venues in seconds, that’s all the more reason to catch these artists in smaller venues when you can. Many of these new Sierra Ferrell dates will sell out, so be on your toes.

That woman is amazing…I wish she would come to Sweden too even though I would most likely not be able to see her. (I’m ill and rarely travel.) But still, it would be nice, just knowing she’s been here…
I wholeheartedly endorse this! I saw her last Tuesday in Jacksonville Beach, and she and her little 3-piece band were amazing! She and they sound better in person than on record. I think production stifles her in a way. And her voice goes places where most human voices cannot go. I saw her in a small venue that seats around 50 to under 100 or so people. Highly recommended in that setting.
What a diamond. I will always be sad that I could not make it up to the shows she played with John R. Miller awhile back. Hopefully her label/management/booking agent gives her a few days off every now and then…

Does anybody know if Nate and Audrey are backing up Nick Shoulders? I saw a few things on YouTube that made me wonder.

Just a note for Portland Oregon, venue has changed to the Aladin theater because Mississippi Studios is too small
