At the George Strait show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Saturday night (5/4), Strait not only confirmed a new album is on the way, he also debuted two new songs from it, including one with Chris Stapleton.
The tragedies continue to accrue for George Strait’s musical family and crew in 2024, with one of Strait’s long-running right-hand men passing away after losing two other important members of his entourage earlier in March.
Earlier this week, the loss of not just one, but two of Strait’s most loyal and long-serving compadres on the same day created a double dose of tragedy no music community should ever have to endure.
