The Revered Laurel Cove Music Festival Announces 2024 Lineup
There are now many, many festivals representing independent country and roots music all around the United States. There are festivals with flashier lineups, bigger stages, extended schedules, and luxury getaway packages to cater to the power elite.
But that is not what the Laurel Cove Music Festival in Pineville, Kentucky is all about. Attendees from previous years walk away from Pineville talking about the community they found, the camaraderie they shared with their fellow attendees, the intimacy of the performances, the opportunities to discover their next favorite artist, and of course the music that is expertly curated resulting in lifelong memories.
So much of the roots music revolution is being fed by artists from Kentucky and Virginia, so why not go directly to the source? Specializing in Appalachian roots music and those inspired by it, the Laurel Cove Music Festival has just announced their 2024 lineup, led by two surging performers in Wyatt Flores and The Red Clay Strays.
Also performing will be artist touted heavily here at Saving Country Music including Pony Bradshaw, John R. Miller, Kat Hasty, Drayton Farley, and up-and-comers Taylor Hunnicutt, Miles Miller, and Canada’s Noeline Hofmann.
Similar to the patrons, the performers also prefer to play the Laurel Cove Music Festival compared to other festivals. The atmosphere in Pineville fosters collaboration, resulting in once-in-a-lifetime experiences to take away.
Started in 2019 by Main Street Pineville, Bell County Tourism, and the Pine Mountain State Resort Park, Laurel Cove has quickly become one of the most coveted festivals in the country. Primary performances transpire on the Laurel Cove Amphitheater, which seats just shy of 1,000.
As you can imagine, tickets are very limited, and will sell out. The last batch of tickets for 2024 will go for sale on Friday (1-19) at 6 p.m. Eastern time. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS.

What a great lineup! So much better than the Country Thunder-type that have been so prevalent.
Things are looking up with so many festivals that feature this artists like this.

This has been on my bucket list for a few years now. The 2021 lineup was pure gold and has aged very well. I make 1/3rd of my year’s salary in May and June and can never take the days off to attend. Maybe they will move it to late summer/ early fall one year.

Damn it’s good to see RCS and Wyatt in the big font. I feel like this could easily be called SCM Fest. Only missing my guy Ben Chapman and Jeremy P. for Bones.

This is my kind of line-up. Everyone in the larger font is an absolute shooting star right now which tells me the rest of the acts are worth the time.

Totally off topic, but you should write about pitchfork’s slow downfall from doing a great job covering the indie rock scene (much like scm and indie country) to conde nast poptimist rag, to I guess a lifestyle column or something in GQ going forward. Music criticism is dying, independent artists are losing important exposure.

Her version of Harper Valley P.T.A., was Explosive.
Loretta Lynn & Dolly Parton couldn’t touch it.
