Two Step Inn Festival Reveals Packed 2027 Lineup

Weather put a damper on festivities at the Two Step Inn in Georgetown, TX in 2026, with the second half of of Saturday getting washed out completely, including headliners Brooks & Dunn. The festival ended up refunding tickets in full for the entire day, even though half of the lineup still took the stage.
But undaunted, they have announced their return for 2027 with a stacked lineup that will include Brooks & Dunn hopefully finally making their Two Step debut Saturday, April 17th, and record-setting country superstar Ella Langley headlining the event on Sunday, April 18th.
Located just north of Austin, the Two Step Inn is country music’s megafest that looks to blend country legends in with independent country stars, Texas music stalwarts, and a dash of mainstream up-and-comers. All of these ingredients can be found on the 2027 lineup, including Texas natives Parker McCollum, Whiskey Myers, Josh Abbott Band, and Flatland Cavalry, country legends Clint Black, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, and Tracy Lawrence, and top line stars from the more independent world like Charles Wesley Godwin and Jake Worthington.
Kaitlin Butts will also make her return after performing at the fest in the past, but getting rained out last year as well. Along with playing a solo set, Kaitlin will be partnering with Carter Faith to pay tribute to Dolly Parton.
As always, the Two Step Inn includes some questionable choices. Sure, Sheryl Crow has fans. It just continues to be a strange pairing when she appears on country festivals. Stella Lefty certainly has fans too, but a lot of detractors as well. We’ll have to see what Stella’s standing is come April of 2027. But one thing next year’s lineup does not have is the handful of hip-hop/EDM names that have previously sullied the lineup. Ludacris, Diplo, BigXthaPlug (who was a big disappointment in 2026), T-Pain, and others have appeared previously.
Instead, Two Step Inn is bringing in a host of country and country-adjacent Hispanic artist that much better fit the fest’s profile, while still working to expand the attendee’s palette. Dustin De La Garza, Los Hermanos Mendoza from Bakersfield, and Maoli from Hawaii will give the 2027 Two Step Inn some good texture.
Pre-sale begins on Friday, September 25th from 12 to 1 PM Central. To sign up for a presale passcode, CLICK HERE.

Any idea if Stella lefty is capable of performing live? Does she play with an actual band?
Sheryl crow yeah only kid rock can compete with her for association with country music without actually ever playing country music

At least with Sheryl Crow seems to be a decent human being and could be mistaken for country music by people who don’t really listen to country. Kid Rock is ear cancer and an utter douche.

Nobody has ever thought of Sheryl Crow as country except for Sheryl Crow and her booking agent. Interesting that the only officially “country” single either Sheryl or Kid Rock ever did was a duet together called “Picture” in 2001.

I had never made that connection but that’s so true

I saw Stella on the Stagecoach livestream sit in with Wyatt Flores, which was my first time ever hearing of her. Based solely on that performance, No, she is not capable of performing live.

Sheryl actually did make a country album once and she opened for George Strait.
But yeah, she has always been closer to rock music but has always been pretty adjacent to the country scene

She marketed an album as country. In truth, it was just another Sheryl Crow album. Her “country” era has way more to do with her physical proximity to Nashville than it does any type of sonic markers.
I’m not anti Sheryl Crow. But they sure do love to shoehorn her in just about every scenario under the false pretense that her appeal is universal, and ubiquitous.

We will see how good ella and her bangs are in front of real country crowd…she’s a former dancer and just has country mesmerized with her bangs and ass…..half the singer of some of the woman of americana music

First, having attended Two Step Inn every year, I wouldn’t call it a “real country crowd.” They’re out there boppin’ to BigXthaPlug and Diplo. Definitely a real country element to the crowd, but it’s pretty diverse. Ella’s set will be massive.
Also, Two Step Inn is where I first ever saw Ella Langley. She wasn’t bad, but I was generally under-impressed. She had that Nashville stage presence coaching, which always comes across as inauthentic to me. We’ll see how well she’s been seasoned now.

Stella Lefkowitz will eclipse Ella Langley.

Stella’s a one time flavor of the minute fad. Here today gone tomorrow. No lasting cultural impact. Thats a fact.

Stella Lefty getting billed over Kaitlin Butts is f**king gross.
September 24, 2026 @ 9:22 am
I agree Kaitlin has put in the time and has the talent. You could make the same argument that Mack Geiger is far below a lot of people he is outdrawing right now. Typically this slotting is whatever they got the artist for monetarily. Stella was probably a late addition after her streaming success and she cost more than Kaitlin. Kaitlin is a great person and talent but she doesn’t sell tickets like Stella either. Judging by the lineup Stella is probably headlining the showdeo stage which is typical of pseudo or non country acts that have a younger core audience.

For the record, there are three tiers to this festival poster: Headliners, Direct Support, Setup acts. I don’t think Stella Lefty is officially billed above Kaitlin Butts here because they’re both in the same font size, just above her in line. We’ll have to see when the schedule itself comes out where they land.
That said, I do think this festival is running a big risk with putting Stella Lefty on the bill. It’s a risk because she could continue to blow up, and be a massive draw by next April, or it could all unravel for her like we’re seeing happen with Jelly Roll, for example, and it be a liability. To me, it’s similar to Under The Big Sky Fest booking Oliver Anthony a couple of years back as a headliner. Sure, put him on the bill if you wish. Put him near the top, and it can be a boom/bust situation.
Also, Kaitlin is about to release a big album. That could definitely elevate her. She’s also co-starring in the “Choosin’ Texas” video, so….

That’s a great point. It may just be up there to make sure the name catches the eye of the casual concert goer glancing at the poster.
They’ll definitely want to curate that schedule pretty carefully. Putting her on between acts like CWG and Butts would be a disaster. Experience and talent gap would be amplified a hundredfold.

Apologies meant the Pony Up stage. I think we will see Kaitlin on the Main Stage before CWG/T-Law or the side showdeo stage before either which is great slotting for her.

Perhaps drought-stricken farmers should erect a stage in the middle of their fields, set up drums, amps, and a PA system, and wait. Relief will arrive soon!
