William Beckmann Signs With Warner Music Nashville

“There is one thing that is inarguable about William Beckmann. The South Texas native has a voice that is begging to be heard by the masses. He’s one of those artists where you don’t wonder “if,” but “when” he’ll blow up on the national scene because there is too much talent here for it to be contained on a local or regional scale.”

This was how William Beckmann was introduced by Saving Country Music when reviewing his 2023 album Here’s To You. Here’s To Me. Well “now” appears to be the answer to “when” the rest of the world will wake up to this world-class signing talent.

Announced on Tuesday, August 27th, William Beckmann has signed to Warner Music Nashville. He is now a major label artist. The news comes as Beckmann readies to release his debut single for the label called “Not That Strong” slated for Friday, August 30th.

“I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity to be a part of the Warner family,” says William Beckmann. “From the very beginning they’ve had such a holistic understanding of both my journey to this point and vision for the future, I can’t wait to begin releasing music together.”

Warner Music Nashville’s Senior Vice President of A&R Stephanie Wright says, “William has a swagger that is both retro and youthful. Combine that with his rich, timeless vocal and the result is a modern-vintage sound that is quite unique not just to the country format, but to all genres of music,” says “Whether he is serenading in English or in Spanish, you immediately recognize that William Beckmann is in the one of one category of artists.”

Beckmann made a big impression with his super traditional country breakout single “Bourbon Whiskey” in 2021. Then his 2022 debut album Faded Memories showed his command with more contemporary country sounds too. Meanwhile, the bilingual singer from the Texas borderland can croon out the cleanest, most classical and authentic Tejano ballads you can find. He could have an entire career in that realm if he wanted to.

Already signed to publishing house Warner Chappell as well, Beckmann was shepherded early in his career by Randy Rogers. Along with The Randy Rogers Band, Beckmann has also opened for Parker McCollum, Hank Williams Jr., Charley Crockett, and others, along with selling out Gruene Hall five times all on his own.
