New Live Viewing Options for Alan Jackson’s Final Concert Announced

Those die-hard Alan Jackson fans who want to be part of his final concert and experience it live—but couldn’t secure tickets to the show itself at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium for June 27th—they now have a new option, and a free one just down the road from the event itself.
Announced late last week, they will be closing down part of Lower Broadway in Nashville on the 27th for “Keepin’ It Country On Broadway.” There will be a big screen and a stage erected on Broadway to broadcast the concert, and the event will be completely free and open to the public. The gates will open at 4:00 pm, and the event will also feature a live performance by James Carothers who’s previously opened shows for Alan Jackson and plays at his Lower Broadway bar. Lower Broadway performer Cory Farley will also perform.
Calling the event “Keepin’ It Country On Broadway” is probably intentional. The Alan Jackson-owed AJ’s Good Time Bar is one of the few establishments on Lower Broadway that specifically caters to traditional country. Robert’s Western World is another. Most importantly though, this announcement creates even more opportunity to the general public to participate in Alan Jackson’s final show, even if remotely.
For those who don’t want to venture to downtown Nashville or hang out in the June sun all day, NBC has confirmed that there will be a full film crew taping the whole thing for later distribution as a primetime concert special. Though no date has been confirmed for when it will air, this will give everyone the opportunity to see it. It will also be made available for streaming the day after (not the concert, but the TV special) on NBC’s streaming service Peacock.
Fans have two other options of how to view Alan Jackson’s portion of the concert in real time, even if they can’t be there in person. The Country Music Hall of Fame will be opening up their CMA Theater that will broadcast a live feed from the concert. Tickets were free, though you needed to reserve them. The venue has since been sold out for the event.
However, Belmont University in Nashville is also opening up their Fisher Center where fans can witness the same live feed, and they still have tickets available. All proceeds of every ticket purchased will go toward launching the Alan Jackson Legacy endowed scholarship at Belmont University, which will support aspiring musicians and artists for generations to come. There will also be a live band performing at the event before the live feed begins.
Along with Alan Jackson, George Strait, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Lee Ann Womack, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Riley Green, and others are set to perform. Also scheduled to perform are members of Alan Jackson’s family, including nephews Adam Wright and Big City Brian Wright, along with Big City Brian Wright’s daughter, Carlisle Wright.

Boy who does Luke Bryan and Keith Urban got dirt on to get into that event.

Although we all have a fair amount of disdain for Urban and Bryan, it’s not all that surprising to see them included here. Both seem to be very well liked by their peers. I’m just happy Jason Aldeen didn’t make this cut this time around.

Maybe Alan and Luke are huntin’, fishin’, golfin’, drinkin’ buddies.

I Myselfdo not care that much for Luke Bryant and Keith urban nor Luke Bryant! These music that is !

Definitely thankful Aldean isn’t included, but like never dreamed he would be and I’m shocked as well on Urban and especial Bryan. “Their peers” and Alan Jackson are two very different factions. Alan’s undoubtedly the preeminent champion/critic of his generation of fighting the good fight/the frauds appropriating Country Music. In a nutshell, for the guy who sang Murder On Music Row to have the fool who eliminated someone from a singing completion for being “too Country” attend his swan song wreaks of AJ not being involved in the full lineup (at least these two) and/or someone definitely not recognizing his audience

Let’s have a call out to mega music talent finder Clive Davis for his work signing AJ, among so many others.
June 22, 2026 @ 1:41 pm
Clive Davis was definitely a mega music talent finder, and his death is a big one. I wouldn’t give him credit for signing Alan Jackson, or really any country artist. I do know that Clive was one of the money men/executives behind the formation of Arista Nashville, but I would be surprised if he even know who Alan Jackson was when he was signed. That was all Keith Stegall and Tim DuBois. I’ll stand corrected if anyone has any further information. But saying Clive Davis was responsible for finding Alan Jackson is like saying Toby Keith was responsible for Taylor Swift.

There’s a (now) bizarre clip on Y-T of Alan Jackon’s first national–or near-national TV appearance, where, identified as “Al,” he doses a credible George Jones. Also noteworthy because it purports to be the first time Keith Stegall ever encountered Alan Jackson. (I would not be shocked if that’s not quite true, but it makes a great story.)
Al looks his age (about 28), but Keith–who’s two years older, and heading the panel, looks like a kid.
The way the video’s going, If it had gone on any longer, I think we might have seen “Al” smack the annoucer for “unwelcome” touching.

Trigger I spoke to the Fisher center and both their event and the one at the CMA theater are only including Alan’s portion of the concert at their events. According to WSMV the Broadway event will show the concert in it’s entirety. Confusing for sure.

Thanks for the info Keith. Yeah, this Lower Broadway event really is cutting the legs off those other two events. About the only incentive they have now is air conditioning, though I guess you could go to Lower Broadway, then duck into the Fisher Center or Hall of Fame to watch the final portion. The Hall is walking distance for sure.
