Silverada Embarks on 2025 “Unlit Matches” Tour

Reports of Silverada’s demise are greatly exaggerated. On the contrary, they just hit the road, and the world’s greatest country band will be filling hearts and melting faces on what they’re dubbing the “Unlit Matches Tour,” making reference to the most controversial like from Saving Country Music’s reigning Single of the Year, “Eagle Rare.”
They’ll be tearing through the deep south this April before returning to Texas, then head out to California in June, then run through the Midwest in July, all while hitting multipe festivals as well like Texas Music Revolution June 6th, and then Rock The Rind, the Braun Brothers Reunion, Unbroken Circle Fest, and Born & Raised later this year.
What some are wondering is who will be playing steel guitar after the exit of long-time wizard Zachary Moulton recently, or if they’ll even have a steel guitar player with them out on the road at all. Saving Country Music has learned that for select dates in April, Adam “Ditch” Kurtz, who previously played with American Aquarium, Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, and most recently has been touring with Joshua Ray Walker will be sliding into that spot.
The band recently said after the news of Zach’s departure and their first show afterwards, “Can’t lie, being in an old honky tonk last night w/ a renewed sense of drive + love for this journey – it was rowdy, sweaty, + the sold out crowd felt like they were gonna levitate clean off the ground with us – it’s a damn good feeling. When one door closes, another window opens.”
It’s really pretty simple. Silverada is the most entertaining band in country music to see live. So do it. Tickets can be purchased at silverada.com.

I have my tickets to see them in Greenville and I’m excited! I’m glad they’re going to be over near me since I feel like they haven’t been this way at least not since I’ve been on the lookout for them. Glad to know they have figured out a steel guitar player I had been worried about that

Seen Ditch with Shook, JRW and all over Nashville.
A different energy but a good player.

I’ll be there tonight! I’ve saw them once and it was great! Looking forward to the show tonight.

just got the tickets for KC in May. Anxious to see them again and how they’ll replace Zach.

C’mon guys, you can’t find a day to spend in BHM, AL?!?! Would love to see them.

The show must go on, as I always say ….. there is no “I” in band. Adam was here with Sunny a few weeks back, and you know Sun had to tease him….lol, he played great. Take it to the streets boys and get back here soon.

Ya saw Sunny at Mile 0 in January and in Milwaukee last month and the shows were stellar and Adam fit right in. Am interested in the Silverada part of the equation but doesn’t look like they are coming this way.

Great news, I love Zach and understand his situation, but they are not the same without steel, all things change in life and we all need to adjust, but I’m happy they are still carrying steel in the band. Yee Hah!

Do we know what Zach’s “situation” is? Not that it matters, but I’m still just so surprised by the move. Him and Mike have done the Steel and Solo run of shows, and I just believed that he was a lifer. So bummed to see his time in the band come to an end but can’t fault it if it’s what he felt he needed to do.

The are still one of the absolute best country bands out there on the road! We were not happy to hear about Zach leaving, but the show must go on! Ditch is honestly one of absolute favorite steel guitar players! We get to see them next week in Macon!
If you have not seen this band live, you are missing out!

Loved every show of theirs I’ve seen. I hope it continues
April 5, 2025 @ 1:09 pm
Catch them if you can. It’ll be good.
April 7, 2025 @ 9:47 am
Hope there’s some more news coming around those two Iowa dates. The Showboat Saloon at the Dells and maybe some Minnesota?!?
April 8, 2025 @ 4:08 pm
The clips I’ve asen since with Kurtz joining them are excellent!
