Brent Cobb Reveals “Ain’t Rocked in a While” Tour Dates

Something has gotten into our sweet little South Georgia boy Brent Cobb. Were used to him softly cooing gentle country songs in our ear as we laze away a warm sunny Sunday afternoon. But for his new album Ain’t Rocked in a While out on July 11th, he’s promised a more rockin’ and rowdy affair with his backing band The Fixin’s.
“I feel like sometimes when people come to our shows, there might be a disconnect. People might view me as just a singer-songwriter. You know, sit down and tell ‘em a nice, little Southern story. Sing ‘em a song. And our live show kinda rocks,” Brent Cobb says. “It’s not that I’ve never rocked before. Just ain’t rocked in a while.”
Well he’s going to be out there rocking for folks all across the United States ahead, during, and after the release of his new album, with a bunch of new tour dates just dropping. Along with big festival appearances at Under the Big Sky Fest in Montana and FairWell Fest in Oregon, Cobb will be also be playing legendary venues such as Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, The Troubadour in West Hollywood, and The Burl in Lexington.
Many of these are mid-sized club dates that will sell out, so don’t be slow on purchasing tickets. Dates go on sale at 10 am Friday (5-2) at brentcobb.com/tour.

Good for Brent looking to play some bigger rooms. Normally he’d fill a 400 cap venue here and he’s more than doubling that size space going with The Vogue. He’s done 600 here in the past but that was with Nikki Lane co-headlining so we’ll see how this goes. Compare that to Adam Hood who was just here this past weekend and played to about 150. If Brent wants to rock out in a bigger venue, I’m all in. I’ll go anywhere he wants to go because he is flat out one of the best doing it and a damn good guy based on my interactions with him after shows.

Not sure I’ve formed an opinion on the new single yet, but I’m here for this. Brent’s been one of my favorite artists in this scene for the last decade or so and he’s earned my trust a million times over – he’s done singer-songwriter stuff, southern rock stuff, gospel etc. If he wants to do amped up stoner-rock, I’m down. Seen him live a bunch of times and, yes, the show rocks harder than expected in light of the mellow vibes featured on most of his albums – and he’s humble AF and usually comes out to hang with the audience after the show.

absolutely one of the best, got all his records, saw him live just once in Germany and he rocked (even if there was a stupid couple behind me talking over the whole set). New single did nothing for me though. That said i can’t wait for the album to drop.

Got my tickets to the Fall River MA show! Brent is easily in my top 5 favorites, if not top 3.

I’m curious what you think about that Fall River space. I saw REK and James McMurtry and they both seemed to be mailing it in. They couldn’t get out fast enough. Wasnt all that impressed with the venue but thought it might be related to the experience.

Not a single show in the great state of Colorado 😖🤦 This ain’t cool at all. Absolutely love Brent Cobb even if the new single isn’t doing anything (good) for me
