You won’t hear “King” George Strait on the radio, and you’ll barely hear songs from Chris Stapleton these days. But both of these country stalwarts can sell out shows at the stadium level, and will do so once again in 2025.

Classic Country Is Well-Represented at the 2018 Nashville Boogie

Classic country fans and throwback rockabilly cats descended in throngs upon Nashville’s Opryland Resort and The Nashville Palace on Memorial Day weekend to participate in the annual Nashville Boogie presented by Muddy Roots. Dubbed a celebration of mid-century American culture, the event included five stages over four days.

Willie Nelson’s appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival on Saturday (5-25) at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina was abruptly cancelled after Willie was unwilling or unable to perform. According to concertgoers, Willie Nelson walked out on stage twice, but never sang or played.
